Having tricks up your sleeve doesn't mean you are a deceiver, it means you are one step ahead. It's an expression, not to be taken literally, that means that whatever anyone can throw at you, you are prepared and can go one better. You have a plan. It originated because of card tricks and deception but it doesn't actually carry that connotation. It's much less about the cards and much more about thinking ahead. It's usually endearing, you teasingly say someone has tricks up their sleeves when they get the better of you. I can't imagine anyone truly being offended that someone accused them of deception with that expression. Offense is not in the ear of the listener regardless of how badly the world would like it to be.

Oh my! You're right. God does not play tricks. Much less does he keep them up His sleeve! God doesn't have sleeves. He doesn't have pant cuffs either, because He doesn't wear pants! Nor does he wear underwear like the rest of us mortals. The Mormons wear heavenly underwear, but we don't take them seriously.
I'll tell ya- if you want real information about God, log on to CI where folks like GJC can set us all straight about what God approves and what He doesn't.

He summed it up very well when he said the Jєωs rejected Christ because He founded the religion based on faith and not on biological race (~20:10). Speaking oft he Jєωs: "We are the people. We want nothing to do with Joe Blows." haha

~25:50: Yes, the Jєωs could've created Islam. Didn't Mohammad himself have a Jєωιѕн mother, and didn't a Jєω assist him in creating the Koran?
