A year or so ago, the Verbum (SSPX USA Seminary magazine) had a special issue to celebrate the history of the American Seminary, spanning 3 decades or so. They managed to not mention one single time His Excellency's name, even if he was Rector from 1983 to 2003! Quite an acrobatic mental gymnatics reminiscent, indeed, of 1984. When I read that, I just said to myself: "They must have such a seething hatred for the man, that it is diabolical!" I didn't mention it to His Excellency, because I didn't want to aggravate him. But that was obviously the intentions of those behind this scandalous re-writting of "history". Now, imagine a little bit what they must teach at the seminary! If they can mutilate the telling of their own history, what are they going to do with the rest?
