Has anyone noticed at your SSPX chapel, homilies with the indoctrination of "belonging" to the diocese, who your local bishop/archbishop is? At our chapel a few week ago, the priest kept saying over and over "our diocese, our (local) archbishop". I was reading the Angelus Press blog, "Virtues Are Inconvenient, or Oops! It’s Still Detraction Even if it’s Just the SSPX", posted on June 11, 2013, and in this article they are promoting that we are unified to the local bishop/diocese and that "Bishop so..and..so is our father in this diocese". The article also says, "the local ordinary is our necessary connection with the Holy Father, the Vicar of Christ". The author says, that because we had the Mass for the Anniversary of the Dedication of a Cathedral, it is "tangible proof of our unity with the local ordinary and a tangible proof that we are not separatists or schismatic". Also, in the same article he says, when our diocese has been given dispensations by "our" local ordinary (names the archbishop), it has been announced in our bulletin.
On the same website, the article titled, "Christ Acts through the Liturgy: Why the Fight for the Mass Still Matters", posted on May 29, 2013, the author is referring to the motu proprio Summorum Pontificuм. The author says, "the Old Mass as something belonging to the Church, as well as the large number of additional Masses offered, show the essential goodness of that docuмent". Notice, "as well as the large number of additional Masses offered". He repeatedly calls the true Mass "the Old Mass".
