Title: Against the resistance site
Post by: parentsfortruth on January 03, 2013, 08:27:01 PM
I notice that the author of the website included a quote from Chesterton, and the last sentence of the statement interested me.

And anonymity ought to be not only an exception, but an accidental exception; a man ought always to be ready to say what anonymous article he had written.

I think the vast majority of people on Cathinfo would readily admit to anything they've written here to people that ask them personally. I have no problem admitting to who I am, and my reason for using a handle is to make sure my personal information is not common knowledge to the entire world, including psychopaths, junk mail lists, telemarketing, et cetera. It has absolutely nothing to do with keeping anonymity because I am afraid of the consequences of my comments. If someone has a problem with what I write in the traditional Catholic community, I have no apprehensions about taking full responsibility for everything I say here.
