My great grandparents and my pop pop and grandmom (
The original traditional Irish Catholics).  They waited patiently for the priest to travel by horseback or row boat in disguise to come to their home for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The kkk was outside cussing, threatening them and they burnt crosses on their front lawn. And this was here in USA.  If it wasn't for Catholics like them,  there would be any Catholicism in USA.  If it was not for Archbishop Marcel and many of you we would no longer have the true Catholic faith or Mass of my ancestors and the Cristeros.
So we put our trust in God and wait patiently for the next Mass in Philly.   Tonight we will pray the missal and Rosary.   I wait like my pop and grandmom and great Irish grandparents did in the past.   It isn't easy.  We struggle everyday.

They had no choice.

You do.

Now I'm confused.

Yeah you are right they had no choice because they chose to be Catholic.  They could have given up like others and become Protestants. ...

However it wasn't until after novus ordo that many in our family left no

I want to be Catholic.    I strive for perfection.

I want us to go to heaven to be with God and our blessed Mother.

Parentsfortruth:  I learned recently of a group of Faithful in Seneca, Wisconsin.  Not sure if that is within driving distance of your family, but they are working with the CMRI on a regularly scheduled Mass and plans for a school for the children in that area.  You might want to contact the CMRI for more details.

Going to Seneca, sadly, is just as far away as going to Lemont from where I live. After this latest from Franny the Fraud, I'm practically leaning so far towards that way, that I will fall over to that camp. Did you see the latest little gem?

—Church governance: He said his decision to appoint eight cardinals to advise him was based on explicit requests from cardinals at the conclave that elected him who wanted "outsiders" — not Vatican officials — governing the church. Francis obliged, essentially creating a parallel government for the church alongside the Vatican bureaucracy: a pope and a cabinet of cardinals representing the church in each of the continents.
