Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’ve not heard anything about Vigano performing any ordinations.
I thought I remember reading that the Archbishop did a couple of ordinations for a former Indult community/group when they were denied a Traditional ordination.
I recall there was speculation that it was he who ordained Alcuin Ried and a couple in France, but wasn’t it then later discovered that it was a French bishop? Not sure if I’m remembering that correctly.
Thanks Trento, but this doesn’t make sense either. How can 3 Filippino priests be four priests: “two from down under and two in Australia”?But it seems that it’s not Fr Sayed Elias but Fr Elias Guiao. That’s part of the puzzle solved.
I'm not aware that the name nor the nationality of the bishop who ordained Alcuin Reid were ever released, though many speculated it was +Vigano.
Why is the name of the bishop that consecrated him secret? How could anyone know whether he was truly ordained let alone whether it was the elusive Vigano who ordained him?The secrecy alone seems to be suspect.
Sure, but that problem attaches to Reid, not Vigano.
Except posters are suggesting the consecrating bishop was Vigano.
Supposing, for the sake of argument, it was. So what?
