  • Those are good news indeed!

Colombia is such a Catholic country
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

I hear that that part of Colombia where the monastery is located has been practically untouched by the passage of time--as if a whole century had passed them by--the folks in that region being very Catholic and traditional. May God protect and preserve them in their strong faith!!! Viva Cristo Rey!!! Viva Colombia!!!

  • Let us remember that the Monastery of St.Joseph is going to open oficially next Monday on the Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary.

Let us give this monastery all our support in prayers, sacrifices and in donations. Let us remember the words of Fr. Raphael which we should give great importance:

Father, what are now the monastery needs? Are you quite finished? The Monastery is habitable, you can live there but it is still very austere. We are still missing important things, for example, we do not have yet electricity (we are putting solar panels), no drinking water, we bring the water from a pond, we need a well. We need furniture, we are missing some windows, and we need to build a second floor to house another 10 monks. In addition, of course, the lodging expenses for the monks. Therefore, we really need the help of all the faithful of the Resistance. We want to involve in the project to anyone, so that each one of you may consider yourselfselves part of the Monastery. Each one may help by giving a rock for the building of the new house of God, so that you may be remembered each day by God, Our Lady, St. Joseph, St. Benedict and by all the monks praying together every day at the monastery.
    VIVA CRISTO REY!

  • I'm trying to donate, but the papal link/button is inactive. Can anyone confirm whether donating via paypal to the e-mail address, benedictinosdesanjose@gmail.com, via paypal would work?

  • I have been corresponding with Father Arizaga; how interesting to know his parents are from the same city in mexico, Guadalajara, as my mother!

Can anyone verify if the "paypal" button on this page opens up a new page/link for them? It is not working for me or my sister. I have e-mailed father about this issue, but I would like to confirm.

  • I does not work for me either, even allowing pop-ups. It is not clickable.

  • This is very good news...I want to better financially to: 1. help my daughter and 2. help the Resistance..and, perhaps, my daughter will be at this Monastery someday..Either way I believe we can trust the emerging SSPXMC because it's being built on a spirit of non-compromise...Let's pray and donate.
