  •   Bishop Fellay,

You should know full well that Christ has already won the victory upon the cross. YOU are going the wrong way. For fame and glory?? God will judge your soul but uniting with satanic Rome will not get you a place in heaven. Shame on you for doing what you are doing!

Expelled priests or faithful....but STILL CATHOLIC! Too bad you can't take that away to, huh?

What happened to the Bishop Fellay of 10 years ago? Was that all an act? We loved you and prayed for you and revered you and TRUSTED you. The Archbishop TRUSTED you.

Our Lady will crush this plot along with all the others throughout history. Return to the line of Archbishop Lefebvre before God's time comes.

We pray for your soul, Bishop Fellay, we hope for your conversion.

    Msgr. Fellay,

Resign now, while you still can.

    The "first bursar"  :

The Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ
    by Anne Catherine Emmerich

    CHAPTER XIV.

    The Despair of Judas.

I again beheld him rushing to and fro like a madman in the valley of Hinnom: Satan was by his side in a hideous form, whispering in his ear, to endeavour to drive him to despair, all the curses which the prophets had hurled upon this valley, where the Jєωs formerly sacrificed their children to idols.

It appeared as if all these maledictions were directed against him, as in these words, for instance: They shall go forth, and behold the carcases of those who have sinned against me, whose worm dieth not, and whose fire shall never be extinguished.' Then the devil murmured in his ears, Cain, where is thy brother Abel? What hast thou done?--his blood cries to me for vengeance: thou art cursed upon earth, a wanderer for ever.'

When he reached the torrent of Cedron, and saw Mount Olivet, he shuddered, turned away, and again the words vibrated in his ear, Friend, whereto art thou come Judas, dost thou betray the Son of Man with a kiss?' Horror filled his soul, his head began to wander, and the arch fiend again whispered, It was here that David crossed the Cedron when he fled from Absalom. Absalom put an end to his life by hanging himself. It was of thee that David spoke when he said: "And they repaid me evil for good; hatred for my love. May the devil stand at his right hand; when he is judged, may he go out condemned. May his days be few, and his bishopric let another take. May the iniquity of his father be remembered in the sight of the Lord; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out, because he remembered not to show mercy, but persecuted the poor man and the beggar and the broken in heart, to put him to death. And he loved cursing, and it shall come unto him. And he put on cursing like a garment, and it went in like water into his entrails, and like oil into his bones. May it be unto him like, a garment which covereth him; and like a girdle, with which he is girded continually."'

Overcome by these terrible thoughts Judas rushed on, and reached the foot of the mountain. It was a dreary, desolate spot filled with rubbish and putrid remains; discordant sounds from the city reverberated in his ears, and Satan continually repeated, They are now about to put him to death; thou hast sold him. Knowest thou not the words of the law, "He who sells a soul among his brethren, and receives the price of it, let him die the death"? Put an end to thy misery, wretched one; put an end to thy misery.'

Overcome by despair Judas tore off his girdle, and hung himself on a tree which grow in a crevice of the rock, and after death his body burst asunder, and his bowels were scattered around.

  • It is no credit to us to identify the 'first bursar' with +Fellay, much as we are angered and dismayed by his actions against the SSPX and what it has stood for all these years. We must fight for what is right, but never stoop to gratuitous insults as we then lose credibility, and show little charity.

Our arguments must be strong, forthright, objective, but always with charity towards our fellow Christians. Hate the sin, love the sinner, was Our Lord's teaching. When we are angry and feel cheated, we need to pray for the conversion of those who have left the right path that they may not go the way of the 'first bursar', lest we too leave the path of right.

    That's true.

Some weeks ago I had the chance to go to confession to an experienced priest here in Austria who's upholding the Faith and hence who's loyal to Archbishop Lefebvre and to the old popes (who the Archbishop just echoed, as he used to say). This priest is similar to Fr Joseph Pfeiffer or to then Fr Williamson, and we're blessed for having such man of God in our German-speaking world.

Anyway, the good father advised me not to call Bishop Fellay a Judas (anymore), but just a follower of Judas because that's much more precise and that's what Bp Fellay objectively does. (We're not in a position to judge his subjective motives.)

No insult whatsoever. Just the truth. No time for wishy-washy because it's the final battle, so let's speak clear text. We can learn from Archbishop Lefebvre what this means.

Fr Pfeiffer said in his Pentecost fire sermon that Bp Fellay is diabolically disoriented.  That's true, too. Again no insult whatsoever.

Very well said. This is why I wrote "...God will judge your soul." I can understand the anger but WE must show the validity of our standing by our practicing of the many virtues.

Okay.... a "Follower of Judas".  I'll buy that.

Now, let's take a look at why Judas betrayed Our Lord, according to Ven Anne Cathernine Emmerich.
It's rather interesting and may have some relevance to the current situation:

    CHAPTER II.

    Judas and his Band.

JUDAS had not expected that his treason would have produced such fatal results. He had been anxious to obtain the promised reward, and to please the Pharisees by delivering up Jesus into their hands, but he had never calculated on things going so far, or thought that the enemies of his Master would actually bring him to judgment and crucify him; his mind was engrossed with the love of gain alone, and some astute Pharisees and Sadducees, with whom he had established an intercourse, had constantly urged him on to treason by flattering him.

He was sick of the fatiguing, wandering, and persecuted life which the Apostles led. For several months past he had continually stolen from the alms which were consigned to his care, and his avarice, grudging the expenses incurred by Magdalen when she poured the precious ointment on the feet of our Lord, incited him to the commission of the greatest of crimes.

He had always hoped that Jesus would establish a temporal kingdom, and bestow upon him some brilliant and lucrative post in it, but finding himself disappointed, he turned his thoughts to amassing a fortune.

He saw that sufferings and persecutions were on the increase for our Lord and his followers, and he sought to make friends with the powerful enemies of our Saviour before the time of danger, for he saw that Jesus did not become a king, whereas the actual dignity and power of the High Priest, and of all who were attached to his service, made a very strong impression upon his mind.

He began to enter by degrees into a close connection with their agents, who were constantly flattering him, and assuring him in strong terms that, in any case, an end would speedily be put to the career of our Divine Lord. He listened more and more eagerly to the criminal suggestions of his corrupt heart, and he had done nothing during the last few days but go backwards and forwards in order to induce the chief priests to come to some agreement. But they were unwilling to act at once, and treated him with contempt. They said that sufficient time would not intervene before the festival day, and that there would be a tumult among the people.

The Sanhedrin alone listened to his proposals with some degree of attention. After Judas had sacrilegiously received the Blessed Sacrament, Satan took entire possession of him, and he went off at once to complete his crime. He in the first place sought those persons who had hitherto flattered and entered into agreements with him, and who still received him with pretended friendship. Some others joined the party, and among the number Annas and Caiphas, but the latter treated him with considerable pride and scorn. All these enemies of Christ were extremely undecided and far from feeling any confidence of success, because they mistrusted Judas.

Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

  • The above Posts and the whole spirit of them is judgmentalism at its worst, especially
when they are justified as 'charitable.'   Those posters have no right to speak of anybody like that.   Shame on you!

    Judgementalism, Shame?

Msgr. Fellay is obviously going down the wrong path, otherwise why would
+ABL, Bp. Williamson, Bp. Tissier and Bp. de Galaretta markedly disagree with him, in writing?

Is it not our duty to try and warn Msgr. Fellay of his mistake?

In Anne Catherine Emmerich's "Dolores Passion" she saw where the Apostles
confronted Judas in the Garden.  It's a striking scene. Unfortunaley, Judas was too far gone. He had embraced the devil and wouldn't turn back.

Let's pray Msgr. Fellay turns back before it is too late.

    CHAPTER III.
    Jesus is arrested..

    Pg.128

Jesus walked up to the soldiers and said in a firm and clear voice, 'Whom seek ye?' The leaders answered, 'Jesus of Nazareth.' Jesus said to them, 'I am he.' Scarcely had he pronounced these words than they all fell to the ground as if struck with apoplexy. Judas, who stood by them, was much alarmed, and as he appeared desirous of approaching, Jesus held out his hand and said: 'Friend, whereto art thou come?' Judas stammered forth something about business which had brought him. Jesus answered in few words, the sense of which was: 'It were better for thee that thou hadst never been born;' however, I cannot remember the words exactly.

In the mean time, the soldiers had risen, and again approached Jesus, but they waited for the sign of the kiss, with which Judas had promised to salute his Master that they might recognise him. Peter and the other disciples surrounded Judas, and reviled him in unmeasured terms, calling him thief and traitor; he tried to mollify their wrath by all kinds of lies, but his efforts were vain, for the soldiers came up and offered to defend him, which proceeding manifested the truth at once.

Jesus again asked, 'Whom seek ye?' They replied: 'Jesus of Nazareth.' Jesus made answer, 'I have told you that I am he,' 'if therefore you seek me, let these go their way.' At these words the soldiers fell for the second time to the ground, in convulsions similar to those of epilepsy, and the Apostles again surrounded Judas and expressed their indignation at his shameful treachery. Jesus said to the soldiers, 'Arise,' and they arose, but at first quite speechless from terror.

They then told Judas to give them the signal agreed upon instantly, as their orders were to seize upon no one but him whom Judas kissed. Judas therefore approached Jesus, and gave him a kiss, saying, 'Hail Rabbi.' Jesus replied, 'What, Judas, dost thou betray the Son of Man with a kiss?' The soldiers immediately surrounded Jesus, and the archers laid hands upon him. Judas wished to fly, but the Apostles would not allow it; they rushed at the soldiers and cried out, 'Master, shall we strike with the sword?'

  • This was my meditation today:

"Divine Intimacy" by Fr. Gabriel of St. Mary Magdalen, O.C.D.
Translated from the 7th Italian ed. by the Discalced Carmelite Nuns of Boston
    Imprimi Potest: July 19, 1963 / Nihil Obstat: July 19, 1963

    pp. 789 - 791 "Judge Not"

Presence of God - "O Lord, keep me from judging and criticizing my neighbor; give me kind, loving thoughts about everyone."

    Meditation
    1. "Judge not, that you may not be judged" (Mt 7,1).  Charity to our neighbor begins with our thoughts, as many of our failings in charity are basically caused by our judgements.  We do not think highly enough of others, we do not sufficiently consider their manifest good qualities, we are not benevolent in interpreting their way of acting.  Why?  Because in judging others, we almost always base our opinion on their faults, especially on those which wound our feelings or which conflict with our way of thinking and acting, while we give little or no consideration to their good points.

"It is a serious mistake to judge persons or things from a negative point of view and it is not even reasonable, because the existence of a negative side proves the presence of a positive quality, of something good, just as a tear in a garment has no existence apart from the garment.  When we stop to criticize the negative aspect of a person or of a group, we are doing destructive work in regard to our own personal virtue and the good of our neighbor.  To be constructive, we must overlook the faults and recognize the value of the good qualities that are never wanting in anyone.

"Moreover, do we not also have many faults, perhaps more serious ones than those of our neighbor?  'And why seest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, and seest not the beem that is in thy own eye?' (ibid. 7,3).  Let us seriously study these words of Jesus, for very often, in spite of our desire to become saints, some remnant of that detestable spirit of criticism remains hidden in our heart.  In considering our faults and those of others, we still retain something of this twofold measure which makes us judge the faults of others differently from the way in which we judge our own.  What great progress we should make in fraternal charity, in attaining our own perfection, if instead of criticizing the faults of others, we would examine ourselves to see if there is not something similar -- or perhaps worse -- in us, and would apply ourselves to our own amendment!  St. Teresa of Jesus said to her nuns, 'Often commend to God any sister who is at fault and strive for your own part to practice the virtue which is the opposite of her fault with great perfection.' (Way, 7).  This is one of the best ways of helping others to correct themselves.

    2. "Judgment belongs to God; it is reserved to Him alone, for He alone can see into our hearts, can know what motives and intentions make us act as we do.  'Man sees the face, but God sees the heart' (I Sm 16,7).  Therefore, anyone who judges another -- unless he is obliged to do so by his office, as superiors are -- usurps, in a sense, God's rights and puts himself in the place of God.  To presume to judge one's brethren always implies a proud attitude toward God and toward neighbor.  Besides, one who is quick to judge others lays himself open to committing great errors, because he does not know the intentions of others and has not the sufficient prerequisites for formulating a correct judgment.

"In the face of an act which is blameworthy in itself, we are evidently not obliged to consider it good; nevertheless, we must excuse the intention of the one who committed it and not simply attribute it to a perverse will.  'If our neighbor's acts had one hundred facets, we should see only the best one; and then, if the act is blameworthy, we should at least excuse the intention.' (T.M. Sp).

"Every day I too commit many faults; I too fall into many defects, but this does not signify that all these stem from bad will.  My faults are often committed inadvertently, through frailty; and because I detest these failings of mine, the Lord continues to love me and wants me to retain complete confidence in His love.  He regards others the same as He does me; therefore, I have no right to doubt my neighbor's good will simply because I see him commit some faults, nor have I the right to diminish, for this reason, my love and esteem for him.  Perhaps that person who seems so reprehensible has already abhorred his faults and wept over them interiorly far more than I have over mine; God has already forgiven him and continues to love him.  Should I be more severe than God?  On this point it will be well to remember that God will treat me with the same severity that I show to others, for Jesus has said, 'For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged, and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again.'  (Mt 7,2).

    Colloguy
"O Jesus, You are my Judge!  I shall try always to think leniently of others, that You may judge me leniently -- or not at all, since You say: 'Judge not, that you may not be judged.'  This is why, when I chance to see a sister doing something seemingly imperfect, I do all I can to find excuses and to credit her with the good intentions she no doubt possesses.

"O Jesus, You make me understand that the chief plenary indulgence, which is within reach of everone, and can be gained without the ordinary conditions, is that of charity, which 'covereth a multitude of sins'.  (cf. T.C.J. St, 10-11-C).

"Teach me, O Lord, not to judge my neighbor for any fault I may see him commit, and if I should see him commit a sin, give me the grace to excuse his intention which is hidden and cannot be seen.  But even if I should see that his intention was really bad, give me the grace to excuse my neighbor because of temptation, from which no mortal is free.  (St. Mary Magdalen dei Pazzi).

"O Lord, help me not to look at anything but at the virtues and good qualities which I find in others and to keep my own grievous sins before my eyes so that I may be blind to their defects.  This course of action, though I may not become perfect in it all at once, will help me to acquire one great virtue -- to consider all others better than myself.  To accomplish this, I must have Your help; when it fails, my own efforts are useless.  I beg You to give me this virtue.  (T.J. Life, 13)."

  • I listened again to the powerful sermons and texts of Father Joseph Pfeiffer and Bishop Williamson when in strong words they accuse those "leaders of a traditional movement" who formerly followed Archbishop Lefebvre in holding up the traditional Catholic Faith, but today surrender to the anti-christian Newchurch and carry away thousands of innocent traditional Catholics souls with them!

It's the duty of every Catholic to stand up against such a diabolic betrayal of the true Faith, and to repeat the words of these true watchman to the house of Israel (=Church!) who warn us not to fall for Satan's tricks and his wicked helpers who objectively repeat what Judas did.

After the recapitulation this was my meditation today :

Son of man, I have made thee a watchman to the house of Israel: and thou shalt hear the word out of my mouth, and shalt tell it them from me.

If, when I say to the wicked, Thou shalt surely die: thou declare it not to him, nor speak to him, that he may be converted from his wicked way, and live: the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but I will require his blood at thy hand.

But if thou give warning to the wicked, and he be not converted from his wickedness, and from his evil way: he indeed shall die in his iniquity, but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Moreover if the just man shall turn away from his justice, and shall commit iniquity: I will lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die, because thou hast not given him warning: he shall die in his sin, and his justices which he hath done, shall not be remembered: but I will require his blood at thy hand.

But if thou warn the just man, that the just may not sin, and he doth not sin: living he shall live, because thou hast warned him, and thou hast delivered thy soul.

  • Let's repeat a Message from a modern Paulus to Bp Fellay (bold by me for the high-speed readers) :

Eleison Comments CCLVII ― Saturday, 16 June 2012

    Today’s Galatians

“O you senseless Galatians,” cries out St Paul (Gal.III, 1), tearing a strip off one of his beloved flocks that was back-sliding, or wanting to go back from the New Testament to the Old Testament so as to satisfy Judaizers that would make them serve again “under the elements of the world” (IV, 3). It is remarkably easy to apply the Apostle’s tirade to the Traditional Catholics who are presently being tempted to slide back under Conciliar authorities so as to satisfy Nostra Aetate. But then it is the same world, flesh and devil, so with apologies to St Paul, let me adapt some verses from the Epistle to our own times:--

O you senseless Tradcats! Who has bewitched you, that you should not follow the Tradition of Our Lord Jesus Christ, as it has been set before you? This only would I learn of you: have you been leading Catholic lives for several years thanks to Vatican II, or thanks to Catholic Tradition? Are you so foolish that having experienced the fruits of Tradition you now want to give it up by putting yourselves back under the Conciliar authorities? Were all those fruits in vain (III, 1-4)?

I am astonished that you are so soon drifting away from the line of Archbishop Lefebvre who called you into the grace of Christ, and instead towards the new gospel of Vatican II, which is no gospel at all, but these modernists are troubling you, and they want to pervert the Gospel of Christ. But if ourselves or an angel from Heaven were to try to tell you that the Council was not really that bad, throw him out and don’t listen! Let me say it again: anyone pretending that the Archbishop would have been in favour of a deal today with Conciliar Rome should be thrown out! Whose interests are we seeking? Are we trying to please the Romans or to please God? If these Romans liked me, I would be no servant of Christ! (I, 6-10).

Before you came to Tradition you were serving under churchmen who were turning the Church over to the world. But now, after you found Tradition, how can you be wanting to go back with the world, under the Conciliar authorities (IV, 8,9)? Am I become an enemy of the SSPX because I tell the truth? Those misleading you pretend to be looking after your interests, but they want you to forget about the Archbishop so as to serve their own interests (IV, 16,17). Stand fast, and do not come under the sway of the Council again (V, 1). You were doing well. How can you now be letting yourselves turned away from the Truth? Whoever is doing this to you is no servant of God! I do believe you will come to your senses, but whoever is misleading you bears a grave responsibility. Do you think I would be so persecuted if I was preaching the world? Whoever is corrupting Tradition needs the knife for more than just circuмcision (V, 7-12)!

Those wanting the SSPX to go through Vatican II B are merely trying to avoid being persecuted for the Cross of Christ. They want you to be worldly, keeping only the outward appearances of Tradition. They want back in with the Judaizers in Rome, but God forbid that I should want anything other than the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me and I to the world. Whoever follows Tradition in this way, peace be to them, and mercy (VI, 12-16).

Now read St Paul’s own Epistle. Let nobody pretend that the Word of God no longer applies!

    Kyrie eleison.

  • Thank you, Ethelred, for the above posts.  These were the first two things I read upon waking - a great beginning to a new day.
