But under priests of such a temperment, what kind of priests will they form?

At the very least, newly formed priests with a cultic, Pfeifferian mentality.  It makes me shiver.  I would hope that Bps. Williamson and Faure not ordain any prospective Boston, KY candidates.  But they will do what they do.  However,  we will carefully avoid attendance at any chapel at which a future Pfeifferian priest might preside.  Call me divisive, if you will.  So-called "traditional" Catholicism, or the "resistance," has turned into scarcely disguised Catholic Protestantism anyway, IMO.  I'm not sure that the movement can salvage any dignity, even under the leadership of a bishop whom I essentially admire; certainly never under the leadership of a priest, the very thought of whom, a number of us have come to dread and deplore.
Our Lord once again hangs on the Cross.  Let us hope that His Crucifixion approaches the third hour.  Many Christians, Catholic and otherwise, hang with him.  May their suffering soon end!

Yes, it is disgraceful. This is no better than the robotic Menzingen brigades.
While the SSPX begins to fragment the fragments begin their own sectarian divides.

What an embarrassing letter. If this is any indication of the "Pfeifferian" branch of the "Resistance" then they are headed for disaster. Does that sound too alarmist? Perhaps. However, what I think might happen is that they are soon going to paint themselves in a corner by ostracizing everyone who doesn't exactly tow their party line. I ain't no prophet but this does not look good at all. Of course they would argue that only THEY are the one's holding to Archbishop Lefebvre's position.

The letter lacked nuance and theological principles. In many respects it was a poorly written piece that proved to me that the basis of Fr. Pfeiffer's stance is perhaps based more on emotion than a rigorous theological approach to the problems besetting the SSPX.

Matthew 7:15-20
Quote

15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16By their fruits you shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, and the evil tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can an evil tree bring forth good fruit. 19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit, shall be cut down, and shall be cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them.

It is a scandal that the Kentuckians allow, on their behalf, such a juvenile insulting letter to be published by their followers.
I have a feeling that one or the other Bishop will forgive and forget the petulance of their children and ordain their "seminarians" anyway.
But under priests of such a temperment, what kind of priests will they form?

My thoughts exactly.
