Very good. Two minor bones to pick, at the risk of appearing pedantic. I am certain that the Archbishop would have something to say about the Masonic infiltration of his Society. But then he would probably name names, which obviously we can't. Secondly, he would surely denounce and disown Bishop Fellay for deliberately planning, plotting for and conniving at the undoing of his work. He would also surely denounce the many outright and shameless lies he has told and continues to tell, and the spirit of deceit in which he continues to operate, and would, I suspect, advise him for the good of his soul to live out his remaining days in a monastery doing penance and begging God's mercy.
Absolutely!
And I second the "bones to pick" aspect - but with a twist: I'm surprised
you missed the gaffe, Ed.:
Fifth, In union with the teaching of all times we hold that the truth is found in the collection of papal docuмents and magisterial teaching which are collected in works such as Denzinger-Schutzman.
That should read "Denzinger-Schönmetzer" (DS), a.k.a. the
Enchiridion
Symbolorum, by Heinrich Joseph Dominicus Denzinger (1819 – 1883),
Denzinger's famous
Enchiridion Symbolorum et Definitionum,
a handbook on the sources and development of the Catholic Faith in
its defined dogmas. No theologian's library is complete without it.
Secondly, you say "we can't" name names, but I'd propose that we may
be able to -- but only at risk of life and limb and family and friends!!
Bravo for your forthright assessment of HEBF's nefarious actions over
the past 19 years! I shudder at the thought of the
Jacob Marley chain he has forged. As Fr. Pfeiffer alludes in his meditation from 2002 on
The Passion of the Christ (long before he had any clue of +F's deviance!)
the rope that Judas hanged himself by is a figure of the rope (or chain!)
that we weave in life (or 'forge' link by link) by our unrepented sins and
pertinacious error.
