  • Just wanted to let everyone know the pauses in the video are there so anyone who attended the baptism and didn't want to be in the video would not appear in it.

That's a good idea:  Now watch the Menzingen-denizens start putting up
signs, "Technical Difficulties" whenever they don't want the faithful to know
something they have on video.  They're watching this, you know...

Now they can be on the receiving end of "silence."  Things are looking up!
A new Child of God! ~  Fr. Hewko sang the Magnificat:

46 "My soul doth magnify the Lord
and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
Because He hath regarded the humility of His handmaid:
for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
Because He that is mighty hath done great things to me:
        and holy is His name.
And His mercy is from generation unto generations:
        to them that fear Him.
51 He hath shewed might in His arm:
He hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart.
He hath put down the mighty from their seat:
        and hath exalted the humble.
He hath filled the hungry with good things:
and the rich He hath sent empty away.
He hath received Israel his servant, being mindful of His mercy.
55 As He spoke to our fathers:
to Abraham and to his seed for ever."

You know, we don't get to hear many words in Scripture uttered by the
most holy Virgin Mother of God, but when we do, it's really something...

    She by whom all who would be saved are born into eternal life;
    She through whom all of God's sanctifying grace comes to us;
She who is present in every holy Baptism, was present here.
And through her holy priest, she sings for us those eternal words,

    Amen.
