there is no need for the SSPX to concede anything.
You’re right, there’s not much left that the new-sspx can concede.  In the last 10 years, the new-sspx has gone from Trad to 95% indult (to coincide with +Fellays acceptance of 95% of V2).

Can anyone list any substantial PHILOSOPHICAL differences between the new-sspx and the FSSP?  I can’t.

Philosophically the neosspx continues to go Bud Light. The outward appearance “accident” is slow to change and to make it difficult but for the wary to perceive. But the “substance” is another matter.

Two notable points from this article:

1) The holy oils consecrated (?) by Huonder will be for use in Europe.

I wonder if any European SSPX priests will prefer to receive certainly valid oils from +Faure instead?

2) “If and when the SSPX decides to move ahead with consecrations, it may be that a retired bishop on a mission from the Pope follows in the footsteps of Lefebvre.

Preparing the terrain for Huonder to “consecrate?”
Could a Huonder consecration finally set off a long overdue wave of SSPX priests finally realizing that the resistance was right about the path of the neosspx and that the only bishops left for them to turn to are the one’s Bp Williamson consecrated for the defense of the faith and priesthood (like Archbishop Lefebvre had done so many years before)?

Or will this be another case of if “they don’t see it by now they never will”?

I think there was a “time of grace” in 2011-2014, but for most who stuck around past that, 2 Thessalonians 2:10 applies:

“…because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying.”

[10] "God shall send": That is God shall suffer them to be deceived by lying wonders, and false miracles, in punishment of their not entertaining the love of truth.
