there is no need for the SSPX to concede anything.
You’re right, there’s not much left that the new-sspx can concede.  In the last 10 years, the new-sspx has gone from Trad to 95% indult (to coincide with +Fellays acceptance of 95% of V2).

Can anyone list any substantial PHILOSOPHICAL differences between the new-sspx and the FSSP?  I can’t.

  • Philosophically the neosspx continues to go Bud Light. The outward appearance “accident” is slow to change and to make it difficult but for the wary to perceive. But the “substance” is another matter.

  • Two notable points from this article:

    1) The holy oils consecrated (?) by Huonder will be for use in Europe.

I wonder if any European SSPX priests will prefer to receive certainly valid oils from +Faure instead?

    2) “If and when the SSPX decides to move ahead with consecrations, it may be that a retired bishop on a mission from the Pope follows in the footsteps of Lefebvre.

Preparing the terrain for Huonder to “consecrate?”
Could a Huonder consecration finally set off a long overdue wave of SSPX priests finally realizing that the resistance was right about the path of the neosspx and that the only bishops left for them to turn to are the one’s Bp Williamson consecrated for the defense of the faith and priesthood (like Archbishop Lefebvre had done so many years before)?

I think there was a “time of grace” in 2011-2014, but for most who stuck around past that, 2 Thessalonians 2:10 applies:

“…because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying.”

[10] "God shall send": That is God shall suffer them to be deceived by lying wonders, and false miracles, in punishment of their not entertaining the love of truth.

  • There's been rumblings of a consecration for years, and nothing official. Most recent one had the date as June 2023. June is tomorrow, is there anything more than a “well-placed source”?

Second, if Francis approves it, knowing his strong disdain of anything Catholic, that is a huge red flag in itself.

Here's his take (which shows the seemingly oblivious quality of the faithful in the pews):

    Hey Jeff-
I have a recommendation for you:

I'm not buying it.  Tomorrow is already June, and for there to be such little time for preparation is extremely unlikely.  Nor am I buying the "multiple priests" unless by that he means 2 at the most.

Hi, SeanJohnson: Can you confirm that these oils are going to be used only in Europe? Where did you get that?

Sorry if this sounds a little bit demanding, the problem is that I am set to receive confirmation relatively soon in Mexico and I am questioning if I should go for it or not.

  • Sorry, I didn't see that the source was right there and now I don't know how to delete the reply.

No, it’s can’t confirm that, since I don’t have custody of those oils.

My GUESS is that these oils were only distributed to the German District priests (since some German District priests were turning to Econe or +Faure for certainly valid oils), but again, I have no way of knowing what oils end up where.

Why not just reach out to +Zendejas (especially easy if you speak Spanish)?

You must have been on vacation the last month or so, since the SSPX article denying the consecrations aired here.
