The St. Marys Star is not a Catholic-owned newspaper. The writier of the article is an SSPX Catholic, but he had little choice but to cover both ordinations, as they were both news-worthy items. The front page layout is not done by Catholics either. Sspxbvm is once again twisting the truth for his own agenda.

The SSPX man who was ordained was Fr. Christopher Pedersen. The other person is an NO, not related to St. Marys in anyway (he's actually from Delia, and was never Trad).

You have judged me. Now, may God judge YOU.

The Saint Marys newspaper had this for the front page (this is the first half of the paper). We've been told the author attends Mass at the SSPX chapel. Not at all sure about that but let the paper speak for itself. Take a look.

Only one thing to add...  Very convenient in a secular paper: Tradition and Apostasy together.

I do wonder what use it is to expose this as it appears we are losing the battle. The laity have taken their sides and those with Bishop Fellay seem to be hopelessly stuck in a world of feelings. Some negative responses to Bishop Williamson's visit to Saint Marys were pretty sad to read. The grace of God is just simply missing. What can one say? It's just missing like a puzzle with missing pieces. Nobody can argue with a person who God doesn't give the grace to so I wonder about images like this one and post it with reluctance. I won't be posting the like again.

Although battles are lost I know we will win the war.We have only to persevere until the time of Our Lady!  So,.... carry on!!

I was purposely being vague so you people could think for yourselves. Kind of like giving a child two drawings and telling him to point out the differences. Seems it didn't work for most people!

  • Let me put this story straight.  My name is Patrick Murtha, the reporter on the St. Marys Star who reported on the ordinations of Fr. Pederson and Fr. Bowers.  While I am sometimes given my stories, I do at times find my own.  In both of these cases, I found them and chose them.  They are both about priests of the Catholic Church from local families, which makes both stories newsworthy.  The one is in the SSPX; the other, while he is in the Novus Ordo, is not in apostasy--as far as I can tell, and if there is doubt, the law of Charity rules in favor of the good.  (To make that judgment would require the judge to know more than you or I know.  I'll leave that in God's hands.)  Hopefully, the truth satisfies you, and you can sleep soundly.

While working with the newspaper, I have discovered that one of the faults of the modern time is the over-reaction of people who think they know but who do not know.  The internet is definitely no help.  It feeds very limited relevant information and much curiosity--and to top it off, as anyone can conjure up the "news," the truth of situations becomes rather difficult to discover.  (And these forums are often the worst offenders, creating a false arena for pseudo-intellectualism, fomenting dissent among a very vocal few.)  A few people hear a few things and, suddenly being moved, often by their emotions, jump to ridiculous and damaging conclusions, and resist fantasies.

St. John Chrysostom: "Let the mouth too fast from disgraceful speeches and railing.  For what doth it profit if we abstain from birds and fishes; and yet bite and devour our brethren?  The evil speaker eateth the flesh of his brother and biteth the body of his neighbor....Thou hast not fixed thy teeth in the flesh, but thou has fixed the slander in the soul, and inflicted the wound of evil suspicion...in slandering a neighbor thou hast made him who listens to the slander worse; for should he be a wicked man, he becomes more careless when he finds a partner in his wickedness; and should he be a just man, he is lifted to arrogance and puffed up; being led on by the sin of others to imagine great things concerning himself."

People who wish to blog and spread what they consider "news" must educate themselves on the role of the media in society.  Many of the 19th and 20th century popes spoke on it.  Pius XII spoke several speeches on it--the principles of his encyclical Miranda Prorsus apply.

    Dear sspxbvm -

I went to your website to look around and found it to be very confusing.

You have a lot of great stuff there but in this climate of fast-moving
events and even changing principles of doctrine in the SSPX, it seems
rather obvious that articles and features should have a date attached
so that the reader can know when a post was made and then he
can put it into the context of other similar events of that time, rather
than be unaware of when it was made and therefore unaware of
how the content relates to other events or facts.

    On this page:
    http://www.ourladysresistance.org/the-vortex-deception.html
you have embedded some Michael Voris videos.  There are no
dates anywhere on the page so I had no idea how old the videos
are.  I watched one of them and there is no mention of the year,
only "May 21st."  Okay, so then what day of the week was that?
When you watch the video you can see they say it is Saturday,
May 21st.  Would that have been 2013?  Well, since they're
talking about Pope Benedict XVI and how wonderful he is, no, it
would have to be 2012.  But check your calendar and see, there
was no Saturday May 21st in 2012.  You have to go back to
2011 to get Saturday with that date.

Therefore, your whole website page goes on and on as if it is a
CURRENT event, talking about something that was going on 2
    years ago!

During those 2 years, we have had the expulsion of +W and of
Frs. Chazal and Pfeiffer along with many others.  We have had
the abominable General Chapter of last year, the AFD of +F,
the backtracking of the Menzingen-denizens, the SARD of June
27th, and even HEBF's rather inflammatory speech of Candlemas
in 2012 -- not to mention the abdication of B16 and his
replacement, so to speak, with Mr. Humility.

Do you think any of these things might have some relevance
on the content of the Church Militant TV page?

P.S. I realize you're "off for the summer" but when you return or
when you might read this, perhaps you might think about adding
some dates to your website - because it can only get worse.  In
another year or two, most of these pages you have will seem to
be incomprehensible without any knowledge of when they were
    posted.

Newspapers and the Internet and TV news do this openly - put out tidbits of information in an attempt to sell newspapers (best case scenario) or to manipulate the public (worst case scenario).  The free press of the US and of the world did not prevent the world from being lied into one war after another and the free press manipulated the public in every major social cause of the last several decades.

Are people who work in the media morally compromised paid agents of Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ or do they just suck up to power?

I think I understand why the popes of past centuries were opposed to the Masonic concept of a free press because, largely, it gives the deceives and liars the chance to flood the public airwaves with too many lies for those who care abut truth to sift through and remove.

I'm glad those two are not the same guy.  The last thing this world needs is another novus ordo presider.  The first thing this world needs is an SSPX priest.  However, one more of each is acting like truth is relative.  The Society Priest will confect the Blessed Sacrament, the novus ordite presider will lecture the assembly on the necessity of recycling.

What I would like to read about is the ordination of eleven men to the Holy Priesthood on page one while hearing of a local diocese not only declaring bankruptcy but having a rummage sale of all those pre-Vatican II statues that they have been storing in the basement all these decades.

  • Being under Rome is an apostasy.

Rome is in apostasy.  Rome attacks the Latin mass
And sends lukewarm mixed signals in regards to ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity in the priesthood.
Rome continues to destroy Churches and schools that were built by the original traditional Catholics.  They condoned and protect convicted priest pedophiles while excommunicating traditional Catholics for disobedience.

There was a good video from a Ukrainian Greek bishop who spoke against the apostasy of Rome.
Even the Russian Orthodox is preaching against ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity and same sex marriage.
Even the evangelicals are speaking out against ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity and same sex marriage.

Not the novus ordo and not the sspx.

Novus ordo and sspx are lukewarm and indifferent when protecting the sacraments of Holy Orders and Marriage.

All sspx hierarchy and clergy can talk about is declarations and doctrines.

And any novus ordo priest who preaches against abortion, ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity , sɛҳuąƖ abuse, modesty are persecuted by novus ordo hierarchy.

Silence and condoning and covering up sin is accomplice to sin.

I don't care about sspx, fssp, novus ordo

We need to Chaste, holy Roman Catholic Priests of The true Catholic faith

May God bless you and keep you
