Sean, are you honestly using the Council of Trent, one of the greatest bastions of orthodoxy, to defend the new mass, one of the worst abominations of heresy in Church history? Are you trolling here? Do you just like to debate? Honest question.
.
How anyone can defend the sacrilege of the new mass by using doctrines from Trent is truly wacko. It just makes no sense and flies in the face of all that is Traditional. If you want to say that one can receive ACTUAL graces, ok. But to say that sanctifying grace is provided by a fake-catholic rite is just ludicrous.

I appreciate your emotionalism, but it is a poor replacement for theology.
Can you point me to the part of Trent which says it’s dogmatic declarations on the sacraments apply to some sacraments, and not others?
If it’s a sacrament, Trent applies.
If it is not a sacrament, Trent does not apply.
You should be arguing that the NOM is per se invalid (which, while erroneous, would at least save you from embracing such stupid, homemade positions).
