The German trad came forth to state the obvious and it’s what Bishop Williamson should be saying.

+ABL warned Catholics not to expose themselves to modernist scandals, saying they would eventually be overtaken by them and lose their Faith.

When you enter an SSPX chapel, you don’t just get the Tridentine Mass.   You get a hurried, cold imitation of the Holy Mass, very possibly celebrated by a priest ordained in the “bastard” Conciliar rIte.

You get the syrupy propaganda sermon, screened straight from SSPX headquarters.  Then there’s the coffee room socialization with the neo-trad sheep, who believe every line Fr. Wegner  tells them.

We have to ask ourselves, what would it take for Bishop Williamson to “red light”
the SSPX chapels?

Deo gratias for that!
Williamson seems more balanced/sensible to me.

Well here in Ireland, I know of not one of our faithful who attends the SSPX anymore.

You can argue it is because of the situation here if you want, but the US and France are the only countries where Resistance faithful still think it is ok to attend the SSPX.

The reason for not attending is so simple. Look at St. Hermenegild. He refused the sacraments of a Bishop who was giving totally traditional sacraments. There was only one problem; he was Arian.

So by the same logic, the SSPX, who have put themselves under the authority of Rome for marriage, confessions, and so on, have become part of that modernist apparatus. While the individual priests may not be modernist (as is the case for many indult priests), as a matter of principle, nay more our very faith, we must refuse to receive their sacraments. The same applies for Orthodox priests and receiving their sacraments.

There seems to be a strange combination of human respect, fear of change etc. etc. on the part of priests and faithful for refusing to break with the SSPX. All we are doing is following the example given by the SSPX of old, when it comes to attendance of pseudo traditional Masses.

"Do whatever you need to do" means if you feel going to the New Mass nourishes your faith, more than staying at home and saying your prayers, then do that.

In short, it means CHOOSE the path that you most feel nourishes your faith and which is within your practical means to attend.

I truly cannot see how one gets from that stated position to one of don't attend an SSPX TL Mass if it is the only thing available.  Even if one is a resistance supporter. For the vast majority of Catholics new masses are available with relative ease.

SSPX masses are available within a 1 or 2 hour drive.

Resistance or independent masses involve leaving the state and driving 300-500 miles.  And they are often not available every Sunday.
