    The neo-Disneyland

"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

  • I won't be attending. I did receive an email about it so assume I am welcome. I will certainly pray for its success. I do resent being branded a cretin and a troublemaker.

  • I don't get this. The London area is extremely well "armed with" competent upholders of the Faith, because the most competent of all of them, Bishop Williamson, is living in a London suburb. But he's not attending this meeting. Instead two priests from very far away fly in to London. What is going on?

He will be away elsewhere (doing confirmations, I think) on that weekend.

The next generation that goes through the SSPX schools will be neotraditional.

They won't understand and they won't care about what Archbishop Lefebvre stood for.

It's only a matter of time.  The SSPX is doomed.

It's already happened here.  The SSPX was doomed the minute they began their courtship with the modernists.

I'm simply astounded that the majority of SSPX chapel attendees here cannot see the changes, or choose to ignore them.  It is so much easier to get along, even if it means dropping some doctrine from ones Catholic stance...Lord, has anyone noticed the modernists elevating Vatican II to an even more sublime level than ever?

Are you trying to say the bish will be extremely conspicuous by his absence? How dare you bring high political motive to the humble affairs of London's downtrodden trads! Besides, there was the danger the two bishops would bump into each other inside Wimbledon's Starbucks!    :argue:

They nearly did so in Germany. I was glad it didn't happen, because the true one was on the priority road.

When the £3.00 designer lattes spill on the floor it would be modern art.

Get it?  "paint quite a picture?"    :rahrah:

Good thing they don't go out to real bars......    :alcohol:

That would be +F on the right.
