  • I hesitate giving this any publicity but I think it is indicative of the continuing melting pot of groups coming together to make a whole.  It is about the third year of this annual conference where the Masses and keynote speaker have always been from the Fraternity of St. Peter.  This year, as you look down the schedule, it will also include those from the Institute of Christ the King as well as from the Diocese of Pittsburgh.  Note well the speakers as they have participated in this "Identity" conference from the beginning.  James Vogel from Angelus Press is one of them.

Slowly but surely all are being blended together to become a watered down version of tradition, more ready, perhaps to be the new ingredient in the Conciliar soup.

  • You got that right! They're all part of a new, neutered form of Tradition, "prudent" rather than militant, ready for re-integration into the Conciliar Church pantheon.

On the contrary, I say VIVA CRISTO REY!  He must rule. Which means the world has a lot of changing to do! If that means that we, Traditional Catholics, are looked upon as adversaries, then so be it! We ARE adversaries to the world that rejected Christ.

You reject Christ, you reject me! Consider me an outcast too. I don't want to be part of any club (or considered "acceptable" by any club) that downplays or even rejects the idea the Christ must reign over secular society.

And yes, that means opposition to the тαℓмυd, Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ, and all other heresies and systems of error which war against the Church. Anyone who rejects such opposition as "conspiracy theory nutter nonsense" has obviously lost his way.

  • I forgot to mention the one ingredient missing from the "Conciliar soup" -- the salt!

  • Thanks for pointing this out.  It sure does seem like these many groups are melting together.

I have noticed that the Catholic Family News conference now features speakers from the Wanderer crowd, which years ago they thought of as too "conciliar" for them.

  • It all comes down to what the meaning of "Catholic" is. Perhaps they should invite Bill Clinton?

  • I'm guessing before too long we'll also see SSPX presenters as well.

    LOL@JPaul.

Well, James Vogel as Editor of The Angelus does indeed represent the SSPX and is a regular speaker at this annual event.  It is a scandal to me that Mr. Vogel even attends this conference where the FSSP has been the only celebrant of the Masses said there as well as the keynote speaker.

Since I no longer read The Angelus maybe someone can tell me if Mr. Vogel has ever written about this conference in the magazine.  I'm not aware of any reporting of it.  I'd like to know how they defend their participation with groups who have long ago capitulated to the Conciliar church.
