I believe we Catholics have a day to day challenge. Jesus-Christ's Church must be ONE. We are told that the Catholic Church is to be found where the Traditional Teachings, Sacraments are.  The sobering reality is that the Trad movement "Institutions / groups (for lack of a better word), be they monasteries, convents, societies, "Exsurge Domine" types etc will have solid Teaching and Sacraments, and because the Novus Ordo church has lost the Faith, absent is the Principle of UNITY imo.

Hours before Our Lord was crucified, he spoke heavily about Unity, that his apostles would be One- usually called the "Great Discourse".  St. John 17:11 "And I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to thee. Holy Father, keep in thy name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one even as we are."

So what is our role to keep the flame of Unity burning?  Where is our PRINCIPLE of Unity, in realtime?  Is there an undercurrent that is zooming in on Unity amongst Trads? Who could "officially" foster Unity?

I bring this up because here in Canada, we have a handful of "Resistants", but every year there is another split, arguments.
Unity doesn't have a priority; individuals going in reverse.

Of course I don't agree with much of what he says, but a quote here from 'Cardinal' R. Sarah, Feb 22, 2026:

" Thus, we too can affirm that the best way to defend the faith, Tradition, and the authentic liturgy will always be to follow the obedient Christ. Christ will never command us to break the unity of the Church. As Saint John Chrysostom says: “The unity of the Church, preserved by the Holy Spirit, is more precious than all the riches of this world.”

...Re: Padre Pio who was unjustly told that he could no longer hear confession for 12? years, and obeyed; that type of obedience didn't involve a danger to the Universal Church - it was a personal issue.  But when Institutions are asked to obey and accept false doctrines/ sacraments at the peril of losing thousands of souls in their care, they must take the stand of Arch Marcel Lefebvre = Faith first, and a firm refusal towards anything Modernist or Liberal.
