  • (I'm not shooting the messenger, padrepio.)

    I can't help but notice that the San Antonio chapter of the Resistance is being snubbed.

    That is despite the many promising features of our Resistance group here:

    * Several dozen adult supporters
    * Excellent central location for the population centers here
    * A new, 30x40 (12' high) metal workshop building with land
    * Quite decent equipment for a "garage chapel"
    * Mass server(s), organist, choir, chant expert(s)
    * And much more

    I wrote to Fr. Pfeiffer 2 or 3 weeks ago, giving actual names and details of our group here. He came for a visit with Fr. Hewko on Feb. 15 -- 2 days after Phoenix got their first Mass. He's been back there twice already. He hasn't even written me back yet about a "next time".

    I'm not saying we're the best; I'm just saying we shouldn't be utterly ignored!
    We're certainly not the worst, the smallest, or showing the least potential.

    Maybe we'll just have to be patient for when the Resistance gains a few more priests.

    I, for one, am not going anywhere. I don't care how long I have to wait.

  • and don't forget us here in the philadelphia area too...

    There is a big difference between South Jersey and North Jersey  *LOL*
    As a matter we don't refer to ourselves as being from New Jersey  We say that we are from SOUTH JERSEY...

    If you come from Eddystone or Essington and cross over the Commodore Barry or Twin Bridges (Delaware) you will be greeted by the true Garden State.  Farms, cows,cowboys, farmers,John Deere tractors, horses, crops  and Cowtown Rodeo on Route 40 if coming in from the Twin bridges.  Route 40 Takes you down to Atlantic City, Cape May, Ocean City which is  the real Jersey Shore.

    Right now our guys are v ripping the fields and are planting plum tomatoes in the greenhouse.   Soon I will help out my husband and chisel plow the fields.  ( I even bought work dresses.)

    and many of us from rural South Jersey  say "Don't Mess with Texas" or South Jersey *LOL*

    TO RESTORE ALL THINGS IN CHRIST!
    May God bless you and keep you
