Angelus Maria, I sent you a PM.  I'm not sure if you can receive them yet, as I think the admin might have it set up so that you don't receive PMs until you've made ten or twenty posts.

I would highly recommend going to SSPV in Rochester. I disagree with them on the issue of the Thuc Consecrations, but other than that they are solid. I go both to the SSPV/CSPV and the SSPX. Every one of the CSPV Priests (the version of the SSPV that the younger Priests are a part of) has been to my chapel and I would highly recommend every one of them.

My only hesitation about checking out the SSPV chapel is that I don't think they recognize the baptism I received as a protestant though it was full immersion and in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit," nor my Confirmation in the N.O.  I am completely open, in fact desirous, of receiving a conditional of both, but I don't want to have to commit to their parish in order to do so.  So I probably wouldn't be allowed to receive Communion unless I receive a conditional baptism/confirmation.  I don't know.  I plan on writing them and finding out.

Thanks for your reply
