I remember their first communique, shortly after+ Fellay's DD 2012. Right away they stated that the SSPX was no longer fighting for the Faith, enemies of the Faith...
And yes, the world needs many monasteries! They act as lightning rods for God's graces.

I was really joyful in those days when I first heard the news. Since when did SSPX bishops have jurisdiction over a Carmelite monastery(ies)?

"....With the Immaculate 13 years ago The German Carmel Saint Joseph dissociates itself from Menzingen and Novena for our priests… The German Carmel Saint Joseph dissociates itself from Menzingen Read the blog With the Immaculate Things are moving in Germany! It seems that the German Carmelite sisters risk finding themselves in a precarious situation, according to what our English friends are saying. Germans reading With the Immaculate can perhaps contact them to offer their help. Their contact details are at the bottom of the article. Source: Translation by Ethelred, from Cathinfo The traditional contemplative Carmel of Saint Joseph with its six Carmelites in the German village of Brilon Wald plans to sever its ties with the neo-FSSPX. Reason given (and I only give the main ones): the betrayal of the Superiors of the SSPX against the faith. When recently Mgr de Galarreta wanted to visit Carmel - because he supervises these monasteries affiliated with the Society of Saint Pius So of course, Father Schmidberger, the District Superior of the SSPX for Germany, wanted to visit Carmel, but they also rejected him for the same reason. The Carmelites are said to have already ended their affiliation with the neo-FSSPX, but Father Schmidberger begged and harassed the sisters to take time to reflect until Easter. The Carmelites will then tell their final decision to the Neo-FSSPX. Some information: When Bishop Lefebvre started the Fraternity, his sister, Sister Marie-Christiane, founded a Carmel affiliated with the Fraternity in Belgium. Later, an autonomous branch of Carmel was founded on February 1, 1984 in Germany, Carmel Saint-Joseph in Brilon Wald. A priest of the SSPX resides permanently in the Carmel to give sacraments, retreats for Carmelites, say Holy Mass every day (including for Catholics in the region, it is in fact also a mass center).

For a year or two, the Bavarian Abbot Zaby has been doing this, (…) Abbot Zaby is against joining the new Rome and has surely played an important role in the awakening of the Carmelites. According to my information, if the Carmel will split with the Neo-FSSPX, Father Zaby will also leave the Society of Saint Pius The Carmel Saint-Joseph consisted of seven Carmelite sisters, but, due to the clash with Father Schmidberger, a sister whose brother is a priest in the neo-FSSPX, left the Carmel and joined the accordist party. Furthermore, unfortunately, the mother Carmel in Belgium remains with the traitors of Menzingen and is therefore on the verge of cutting ties with its own Carmel branch in Germany. Some readers might be thinking now, “What, there are only six sisters, and that’s big news?” But if you knew the importance of a contemplative Carmel, you would realize the true dimension of this news (that is to say, I hope that this Carmel will join the resistance). Archbishop Lefebvre was asked why his spiritual enterprise was such a success, and he replied: because five Carmelites pray for us constantly (he meant the French-speaking Carmel). This is why German-speaking resistance priests, inside and outside the neo-SSPX, are very happy with this news. Also Father Schmidberger knows the importance of having such a Carmel, which is why he is currently returning with rage to the subject of this potential split. Please help us in prayer for the Carmelites of Saint Joseph, for their courageous mother superior (year 1958) and their courageous priest Father Zaby. Let us pray the Rosary for these Carmelites so that they remain firm (…) Saint Joseph, pray for us! Latest news source,The recusant

"...The traditional Carmel of Saint Joseph in Brilon Wald, Germany, was founded 30 years ago as a subsidiary of the Carmel of the Sacré-Cœur house in Quiévrain, Belgium. Some time ago the Carmel made Father Schmidberger understand its total opposition to any agreement with modernist Rome. Carmel has now officially dissociated itself from the German district of the SSPX. The actions of the district of Germany have been neither generous nor charitable. (…) Now the German district is trying not to leave any chaplains. Please can you include the Carmelite Sisters in your prayers? Thank you for sharing, I have read similar articles online elsewhere. When I emailed a sede group in Germany (https://thomasvonaquin.org/seelsorge/), I received a reply from Fr. Martin Lenz, stating that they are no longer working with the aforementioned German Carmelite sisters, and provided no explanation. I believe Fr. Zaby is also part of that group.

According to the Lux Vera World Directory of traditional Mass locations, Fr. Frank Sauer is supposed to be the chaplain of their new Carmel in Kastl, Germany. Do you know who this priest is?

It would be wonderful to know if they have persevered in their Carmelite religious life, I recall reading that they were forced to leave their enclosure on a regular basis, due to not having enough resources, or something along those lines. Hopefully they did not have to return to the world.

About a year ago, I sent them a hand-written letter in German with prayer intentions, to the address given on the Lux Vera website, and received no response. The prayers of contemplative nuns are so powerful. This is supposedly their current address:

Karmel St. Josef

Wish they were still in Altotting supported by a Holy priest and Our Lady of Altotting.

This is the Catholic lay mystic, Alois Irlmaier's hometown and a good place for the Carmelites to make a stand.

Maria hat geholfen – Mary has helped. These three words, so often repeated in the Gnadenkapelle (Chapel of Grace), on its countless votive tablets, rightly determine the image of Our Lady of Altötting as the heart of Catholic Bavaria. Moreover, the Black Madonna of Altötting and the continual pilgrimages there are among the most well-known of central Europe. What is less known is the history of this shrine.   Altotting History link

Recall sending them a prayer stipend around 2012, when Bp.Fellay had evicted and isolated them.

I still think it was spiritually courageous of them to refuse Fellay to enter their convent at that time.
He must have been so incredibly angry.
