German Resistance Carmelite Nuns
« on: March 07, 2026, 02:43:20 PM »
Regarding the German Carmelite sisters originally from the Brilon-Wald Convent who left the SSPX in 2013, and moved to a new monastery in Altötting, does anyone know what happened to them? I can see online that they once had a website, and decided to take it down. From the little information that is available, they sound like such dear, sacrificial sisters.

They separated with the resistance. I THINK they became dogmatic sede.
To which clergy they turned, I do not know.

I see. The sede priests in Germany said that they no longer work with the nuns, when asked recently.

There are many branches. They could have gone with fr. tiago who has gone into a whole world of his own.
