My friend's dad in Ireland has built a fantastic chapel, maybe 15 years ago, for visiting priests. Now with the resistance, people are delighted to go there.  So you normally need 30 - 50 " generou$" faithful, roll up your sleeves and it can be done. To get incorporated, that is waaaaay more complicated. You need to hire Krαh or someone, ;).   And with bill C - 9 in Canadian Senate review as we speak, where certain Bible verses are to be banned, persecutions are to be expected...but we shouldn't be afraid. God is with us, we pray.

"He is risen!"

Genuinely, I say this with charity, but such a comment is most unhelpful.

Thank you for the responses. I’ll probably have more questions later.

Canada is missionary territory. Even the neo-SSPX in Canada (especially the West) has only small missions and not even a chapel.

It’s pathetic and sad to see in places like Nigeria there are more faithful who care about Tradition. Canada is worse than a third-world country.

I don’t understand why there isn’t more of an effort to bring people to Tradition in Canada? It’s a huge country in terms of land, and all the new priests seem to be more interested in either going to the US or third-world countries.

Here many people do not even know what the Latin Mass is. People who do care or know of Tradition to some extent are to be found in the neo-SSPX.

Father Girouard yes is mostly your only option.

There is a chapel in Winnipeg served by American Resistance priests.

You would be advised to steer clear of Fr. Hewko until he can clarify some kind of relationship with resistance Bishops.
Does Fr. Girouard have a website?

Forgive me, this was clumsily worded.

I am not sad that there is success in Nigeria. On the contrary, I am very happy. What is sad and pathetic is that Canada, which has more resources and is in many ways more civilized and more prosperous than Nigeria, is not at the level Nigeria is in terms of Tradition and the Catholic Faith.

I am also genuinely wondering why Canada is a desert when it comes to Tradition in comparison with these poor countries. Is it because it is difficult to find faithful here, that they are too spread apart?
