In similar boat. I'm a newbie, in MN, Rochester/Winona area. Disappointed in the cancelling of Masses, I attend the SSPX Holy Angels Novitiate (former St. Thomas Seminary) outside of Winona. The past 6 weeks no public masses, and none for the forseeable future.
I ran into a small group of Sedevacantists in Chatfield, MN, and was praying rosary with them for a while, but stopped after I realized that they were Feeneyites who were expelled from the Thuc-Line CMRI chapel in Harmony, MN. Frs. Anthony Marie and the pastor of this small sect, Fr. Dominic Crawford are very nice, but I have problems with their Feeneyist positions on BOD/BOB, and am uneasy about Thuc consecrations. Especially in the case of Fr. Crawford who was a deacon when expelled from CMRI, purportedly related to his positions on BOD/BOB. He was ordained a priest by a supposed bishop Neal Webster, who is vaguely reported to have been consecrated by Timothy Henneberry, who was consecrated by a schismatic Palmar de Troyes Thuc-line bishop Raymond Maurice Terrasson

So, I don't even pray rosary with them anymore, since it is done during Holy Hour, and I can't be certain that that is Christ I am adoring or just a piece of bread. So Harmony and Chatfield are out of the question for me.
The other option that I have been slowly warming up to is the SSPV Chapel outside of Rochester, only 25 minutes away from me. But that comes with its own complications, but I don't have any reason to doubt the validity of their Sacraments.
So I have been driving an extra hour roundtrip (total of 2 hours roundtrip) on Sundays across the State Line to La Crosse, to the F.I. Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, where the friars have managed to find a way to still offer regular confession, TLM, and distribute Holy Communion. The have a closed Mass in their friary Chapel while they broadcast it live to a T.V. in the Church Courtyard/Plaza, and the faithful maintain distance and participate that way. I assume the same principles apply here that apply to mothers in cry-rooms during Mass. Then, during Communion, they have two 2-person kneelers in the vestibule and allow 4 communicants in at a time. So 4 go in front Church doors on the far right, kneel and receive, then get up and walk out the doors on the far left, while the next 4 go in on, and so on. This works.
I asked why SSPX in Winona isn't doing this and one priest said that the pastor, Fr. Ward, is aware of how the Shrine is feeding the flock, but that for an unstated reason is deciding not to do so for us.
I'm not sure that I will return to the SSPX after this. It seems only right to stay with those who stuck it out with us. I feel abandoned by the SSPX. I am new to tradition, and looked to them to help guide me to heaven amidst the Great Apostasy. And to tell you the truth, all of the division, confusion and various voices, stances etc. among Traditional Catholics is not helpful. I'm speaking as a person new-ish to Tradition, a convert of 10 years who belonged to Religious Order that was both N.O. and TLM but ended in scandal; scandalized by the N.O. bishop of the diocese we were in (not MN), and then moved to an area steeped in Land-O'-Lakes accord/N.O. liturgy nonsense. I live by myself, I know hardly anyone here except my protestant sister and mother, and am trying to figure out how to live an authentic Catholic life. But everytime I try to research something in Traditional circles, all I get is presented with is an endless selection of rabbit-holes that I can choose from, each claiming to be "What the Church Teaches."
It's a mess. I'm a mess. And it is really hard, maybe impossible, to try to figure this out alone. Hence my registering an account with Cathinfo. I know one Traditional Catholic near me, a neighbor, a sede/feeneyite, who blasted me as a double-talking heretic because I am trying to figure it all out and don't arrive at the same conclusions as his small group. I would think that in these unprecedented confusing times of diabolical disorientation, that Trads could cut each other a little more slack....especially a wounded newcomer who is still licking his wounds from the Conciliar Church.
