I worry that there would be too little common sense in today's youth.The youth of today, if they were farmers (paysans) they would have good sense...but they are cityslickers, and cityslickers (and cityslickeresses) are virtual, and that is not reality: when you have more and more electronics you then have less and less reality - and how can you make a Catholic priest with someone who doesn't have the sense of reality. How could we form a priest for the service of the REAL God, when he doesn't even know what reality is? For me it is a question...it isn't an absolute exclusion - if there happened to be twenty youth where I could perceive that they have a sense of reality I would be tempted to do something; but for the time being, it would be a very similar situation as this structure (+W. points to a white board where he has drawn a sketch of the "SOUP" of different modernist influences, esp Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ ,Liberalism, VATICAN II etc.) of us modern (society) men... we are rotten, we are corrupted ones, we are not "farmer" (paysan) enough, and we do not have the health of yesteryears, this healthy mentality, morality of old. The modern life has affected us. This influences the modern man who doesn't understand obedience - doesn't understand authority: either he obeys too much, or he obeys too little; but the common sense which can find the happy medium [Obey yes! normally respect authority certainly, but refuse authority when it goes against the Faith, goes against Truth, goes against God.] would be confused / jeopardized just like (this chart)...
