Crisis in the Church / Re: This is now being promoted
« Last post by Soubirous on Today at 10:56:15 AM »
Dear Abby is promoting this filth.  And giving out advice that is scandalous.  People are gullible these days.

Was a time that people who did this sort of thing, whether out of willful perversion or neglected poor young creatures led astray, knew well enough to leave town immediately rather than give scandal to their neighbors and bring shame upon their kin. Or if they stuck around, whether cluelessly or defiantly, they were hounded out with burning torches. They moved to the big bad city and were never heard from again.

Now anything goes, anywhere and everywhere, and you can follow your "own truth", infinite inalienable dignity and all that jazz.

Why did the Catholic Church ban cousin marriage?

Cousin marriage was once the norm throughout the world, but it became taboo in Europe after a long campaign by the Roman Catholic Church. Theologians like St. Augustine and St. Thomas argued that the practice promoted family loyalties at the expense of universal love and social harmony.

Also keeping assets over generations in the extended family, and other strategic connections too.

That's part of why the custom persists among Muslims, even with obvious proof of its unnaturalness in so many children born physically and mentally crippled. Re Kephapaulos @ #3, see also: the hemophilia scourge among the former royal lines of Europe, particularly for the male heirs.

Are you thinking of CM and Fr Pierre D.? Hard to find anything on that case. Jassy and her contacts would be a "gold mine" for CM?

Re: a prior case,  I just came across this nugget:

French. To translate more simply select some text, highlight, then in 4 seconds a translate icon appears near the end of the selected text, tap and voila!

https://www.reddit.com/r/france/comments/63kcpe/abus_sexuels_les_dossiers_cach%C3%A9s_des_int%C3%A9gristes/?rdt=62455

"...However, well before the departure of Father Peignot, in 1991, the successive superiors of the Saint-Pie-X fraternity were warned of the attacks committed by this abbot on at least three minor boys in Belgium and France at the end of the 1980s. , without ever notifying the courts. The fraternity was content to move the priest between France and Belgium. It will be necessary to wait until the end of 2009 for an internal procedure to be triggered.

"For SSP X, no protocol was in place to deal with such situations. » However, in 2000, Mgr Fellay, superior of the fraternity since 1994, aware of the dangerousness of Father Peignot, (introduced??, the French word 'casse' means to break ) a first measure prohibiting any apostolate of the priest among young people....[Why was that priest still active at a Scout event in 2002? Ed.]

"...to the reality of speaking of an adapted measure, confining this priest to the role of simple chaplain, without any activity with the children", tries to convince the fraternity. Measures not respected by Father Peignot. The priest will remain in office with a pack of scouts in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine (Yvelines) until 2002, according to the victim who initiated his investigation..."
A better translation ( unofficial, loose attempt) would be: The SSPX is defended by the voice of Fr. Thouvenot: "In the '80's, and that is what is so regrettable, Rome as well as our Society of apostolic life was deprived of any defined canonical procedure to deal head on with such situations.
Pray!
CM had some docuмentary titled “Black Trads Lives Matter “ or something similar. They went bankrupt so there website is down. I’ll try to search the archives when I get home from work.

The truth is important.  Maybe the newSociety could be accused of being too discreet.
This website has a summary of clergy convicted / accused of immoral acts. But to be fair, when someone is "accused", the justice system still has to presume the accused is innocent till proven guilty, beyond the shadow of a doubt. We have to be cautious about slander, defamation, rash judgement and the rest of it. I think CM learned the hard way. Also, it's important to truly know what the term "allegation" means. Some are so quick to find fault in others, and too often, it's all in their imagination...and could ruin someone's reputation in minutes. They lack the supreme virtue, which is charity of course.
Pray.

PETITIONS OF ST. JOHN CHRYSOSTOM
TWELVE PRAYERS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE DAY
 • O Lord, do not deprive me of Thy heavenly blessing.
 • O Lord, deliver me from eternal torment.
 • O Lord, if I sinned in thought, word, or deed, forgive me.
 • O Lord, free me from all ignorance, the pettiness of soul, and hardness of heart.
 • O Lord, save me from all temptation.
 • O Lord, enlighten my heart darkened by evil desires.
 • O Lord, because I am a human being, I am a sinner; because Thou art the Lord God, forgive me in Thy love, for Thou knowest that my soul is weak.
 • O Lord, send Thy grace to aid me so that I may glorify Thy Holy Name.
 • O Lord Jesus Christ, inscribe me, Thy faithful servant, in the Book of Life, and give me a good end.
 • O Lord my God, although I have not done any good before Thee, nevertheless, grant me, with the help of Thy grace, to be able to begin to do so.
 • O Lord, freshen my heart with Thy grace.
 • O Lord of Heaven and earth, remember me, Thy sinful servant, impure and cold of heart, in Thy Kingdom.

TWELVE PRAYERS AT THE END OF THE DAY
 • O Lord, accept my repentance.
 • O Lord, do not forsake me.
 • O Lord, save me from temptation.
 • O Lord, grant me pure thoughts.
 • O Lord, grant me tears of repentance, the remembrance of death, and a healthy sense of my guilt.
 • O Lord, grant me humility, charity, and obedience.
 • O Lord, grant me the confession of my sins.
 • O Lord, grant me tolerance, kindness, and gentleness.
 • O Lord, place in me the source of all blessings: the fear of Thee in my heart.
 • O Lord, grant that I may love Thee with all my heart and all my soul, and that I may always obey Thy will.
 • O Lord, defend me from certain people and also from the demons and all errors.
 • O Lord, Thou knowest that there always exists agreement between Thee and Thy Will; may such also exist between us, for Thou art blessed forever and ever. Amen.

I am newly baptised and confirmed on the same day, as of 15th April 2024 and I am already struggling with praying fervently and reading the scriptures diligently daily. I also struggle with keeping the Lord in my mind throughout the day while tending to procrastinate spending time with him in prayer. All too often, the past couple of days I find myself having doubts eg., "See? There is no special incidents after baptism and I am making my life harder now than before, and for what?"

At other times, I worry about the things that I may need to confess. Not sure if I am being overly scrupulous at all either. While it may not seem a big deal to some, the beginning couple days of my new journey has not been entirely easy and I ask for any prayers that could come my way since I am not sure what I should request for.

I have unsubscribe most of the channels on Youtube and left those that can help in my journey. If there are any advice or channels that the members here can point me to, that would be greatly appreciated too.

Thank you all kind souls in advance!
Welcome to fight!  You are now in a war with the enemies of Our Lord.  Like others have stated, love is in your will, it is not a feeling.  Keep doing what you know is God's will for you no matter how dark and dry you feel.  Put yourself everyday into Our Lady care, trust her to lead you everyday and pray the rosary.

There is no need for a formal canonical procedure. It is good to have one, but it is not essential.

Any decent superior would be able to discern what to do with a sɛҳuąƖ predator.

Parents have no "canonical procedure", but they know what to do to protect their children from the evils of the world.

I think some of this stuff is made up.  Abortion and sodomy are legal too but it goes against the natural law of God.  Incest goes against God.

The Rockefellers were into incest big time to protect their bloodline, investments and money.

Then dear Abby says husband can go without the wife.  A huge no-no.
This is opening the door to satan.

Obviously, this Portuguese man is grieving and demons have entered him.

Currently, there are adult relatives raping
underage relatives then take them to abortion clinic.
