    • there seem to be few actual conversations here on the forum. You ask questions and they go unanswered, as post-ers move on to other topics.. :confused: I am thinking: Attention Deficit Disorder

    or? Immaturity? Well... Grow up already!  

    I thought the whole idea of a forum like this was to discuss ideas and opinions and learn from one another? Well, obviously, we can't do that if people just give some snarky one-liner and move onto some other topic or create a whole new thread on... something few will comment on anyway...

    Maybe I will break my 10 yr (or thereabouts) abstinence from the movies.. I mean, in a movie theater, you aren't expected to give any input on what you are viewing...

    • Relax.  People post if they have time and are motivated to depending on the nature of the topic and whether it fits in with their interests and they have the time to respond.

    I was rather hopeful that the Opus Dei thread I started would continue.  But alas.

    I thought I was the thread killer! Mind you, a thread needs to be worth following up (I mean some worthwhile topic - not like is Trump going to hell or something silly like that).

    I wanted to reply to some of your comments on that Opus Dei thread, Laramie, but I have to try to keep myself in check and I think that was one of those times. Besides we have a very slow computer at the moment and soon I'll be away.

    There are many threads that don't get taken up and if they do they aren't carried far. So, don't get upset Rosary and act like a spoilt child, like "pay attention to ME!" There are some other important things people have to do, like duties of state.

    I think it is not necessarily you
    it seems to happen w/ me also, hence the OP
    people seem to have a short attn span.. and a few other possibilities exist
