  • Has anyone else noticed that the corona yapping has almost completely vanished in the past 24 hours?

Because it has served its purpose.
"In His wisdom," says St. Gregory, "almighty God preferred rather to bring good out of evil than never allow evil to occur."

  • According to a tweet from Taylor Marshall Trump Received 62% of the Catholic Vote.
No, Trump received nearly 100% of the Catholic vote.  And now we know that nearly 38% of those who claim to be Catholic are not Catholic at all.  I'm not counting those who chose to sit the election out or those who wrote-in an obvious loser.  I don't think that was prudent but it's not a denial of Christ.  On the other hand, voting for the antichrist Biden certainly puts you outside the Church.  Even many of the Novus Ordo people understand that.

    I noticed that too.

Even so, one of the counties I frequently visit (Comal) has a decent increase in cases in this "casedemic", from around 100 to 171. Only 4 hospitalizations though.

And the latest death? Someone "80+".  Not "80-89", but the highest category which is "80+". He/she could have been 100 years old. Did he really die of COVID? Even if he did, it is right in line with COVID-19 being "just the flu, bro". An eightysomething could just as easily die from the flu, pneumonia, or many other treatable, usually-not-fatal diseases.

You can't complain when someone OLDER THAN the Life Expectancy dies -- of anything. Death for a person "past the average life expectancy" is literally TO BE EXPECTED.
