  • I have been strongly opposed to Trump and most of his ideas. But the idea of the wall is an interesting one at that. At first glance the idea seems a concept that will yield only economic achievements for the US. Nothing more, nothing less. But what if the wall actually ends up benefiting Mexico more than America?

Mexico is currently a mess because the drug cartels run everything They got the money and the manpower so the Mexican government is fighting an uphill battle against them. But despite the cartels all being based in Mexico that's not where the majority of their profits are coming from. A massive amount of the cartels revenue comes from a US buyer base. Right now the cartels have hijacked the heroin trade in the US and are actively targeting US population centers with their product. Millions and possibly billions a year come from a consumer population in the US and all the proceeds find their way back to the headquarters in mexico.

What if one day a wall appears and nothing gets through this hypothetical wall without Border Patrol knowing? As a result the cartels find themselves with billions  less per year to fund their efforts against the Government. That means they no longer have the cash to bribe government officials and they no longer have the cash for guns. The cartels would try to adapt to appeal to the impoverish population that dwells in Mexico but most people or too poor or simply have no interest in anything to do with the cartels. Such a loss might just be enough to finally tip the scales in the never ending war and grant government victory.

  • The wall is like trumps baby.  That was the very first proposal of his, and I have some thoughts on the matter.  My thoughts are, I like ben carsons border proposal much more.  Carsons proposal is affordable, and it doesn't really raise any concerns.  It can be put up fast, and it can be removed if need be.  Trumps wall is likely permanent, and it is expensive.  This is why trump has to say mexico will pay for it.  Because, it is expensive.  Hopefully that is the art of the deal.  Shoot high, and meet in the middle. And, I think that middle ground would look like carsons proposal(economical).  Because, the establishment doesn't want any wall.

Carsons proposal was to have a road between two fences with security cameras/and active border agents for quick access to intercept illegals.  This would cost a lot less than a big stone wall.  And, quite frankly, I do not want something like this to get in the way of him making it to the white house.  Because, the establishment can stop him.  And, I like a lot of his other proposals, and want them implemented more than this.  And, there is fat in this wall proposal.    Many of his other proposals sound great, and I don't think they can be altered much.  But, with this, he has room to alter it  So, I hope he does.  But, we will see what he is made of.

  • Something else important must be noted, so consider this my current and real opinion.  The wall is actually not what the establishment doesn't want.  The establishment doesn't want deportation.  That must be the real focus.  Amnesty and deportation is the issue.  So, I will prefer to do the reverse of rubio's establishment plan.  Rubio said lets secure the border and then talk about amnesty.  He said this because the establishment wants all these spanish speakers here.  So, that means, we must do the opposite.  We must deport all illegals, and then talk about a wall.  That is the only way to proceed.

Deport all illegals, and then we will talk about a wall.

Also, if in the future our economy tanks and/or we have cινιℓ ωαr, people may want to leave.  But, a stone wall would get in the way of that.
