    I would never have called Trump a conservative if he appeared to be the same person he was, say, 10 months ago. But he is doing virtually everything a conservative would do, don't you think? So he is one of my faves

    Then there is Rand Paul, who is trying to save us from socialized medicine... Venezuela and all

    Hmmm... I can't think of a 3rd, even though I like them all. I am trying to think of the top 3. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :-X

    • By the way, just because they are conservative doesn't mean I trust them.  I think Republicans are just as bad as Democrats.  I'm ticked off that local republicans are pro abortion and NO Catholics.  The NO in our state are liberals.

    • I liked Larry Macdonald. He makes all these other "conservatives" look liberal.

    as someone on Fox said recently, it looks like a lot of the Rs have ditched their ideology. Of course many of us have thought this for a long time now.

    How could I forget my third person on the list?!

    Ted Cruz

    I would like Mike Lee a lot more if I knew he had renounced his Mormon upbringing in favor of true Christianity (Catholicism). Cruz is not Catholic (that we know of?) but .. well, Nihil Obstat

    He was just SO right on the money today when he said that DC is trying to micromanage healthcare (not his EXACT words but pretty close)

    he did use the word Micromanage

    He articulated perfectly what I have been thinking all these yrs, ever since O/care emerged from the murky, spooky swamp

    well, others do that also. The problem is that sometimes the constituents want you to do things that are un-american. I would like to know more about this new Republican bill on healthcare but i already don't like it b/c it maintains gov control of healthcare.. A very un-American thing.

    Isn't it odd that the most conservative and anti communist was killed in a airline attack by USSR?

    • I like Pence also. However, i sometimes get the feeling he will not argue w/ the president even if the pres is wrong. I am not sure the pres is wrong on healthcare because, along with  most of Congress, i don't even know what the new R bill is about.. may be against it were I to find out, may not... But as long as Rand Paul is against it and talking about how it will make the insurance companies richer, forget it

    just totally forget it.

    I heard only 22% of Americans are in favor of the new bill

    probably b/c they don't know what's in it. Nancy Peℓσѕι may like mysteries (as long as she herself gets excellent not-so-terribly-mysterious healthcare, that is) but the rest of us schmucks..
