Hello!
https://archive.org/details/france__01crowuoft https://archive.org/details/france__02crowuoft https://archive.org/details/france__03crowuoftIncluded here are 3 volumes of a 5 volume set on France.
Also-
https://archive.org/details/frpopularhistory01guizuoftThe first volume of what appears to be a lengthy history in France in 5(?) volumes.
I skimmed through the first set, it seems fine. The second book seems historically accurate. However, as a general warning (not to say you are ignorant of this) secular histories are to be approached with caution.
There is, a quite lengthy set of books called the "History of the Popes" by a man named Ludwig Pastor. His series starts from about the Middle Ages all the way to Gregory XVI, if I am not mistaken. However, upon first glance, they seem to be historically accurate. Also, it provided key information that I had sought concerning Alexander VI. They are good reads (40 vols. however). I am positive the history of France is included. Also, duly noted, is that he comes from a Roman Catholic prospective.
Have fun!
