    • On June 10th, President Makron was slapped by one of his French constituents.

    There's some good slow motion clips and comparative analysis on his slap below.

    But what do YOU think the slap style was?

    You could see the limp wrist coming in with the slap ... but perhaps that was intentional.  He didn't want to actually hurt the guy and then spend 10 years in jail.  Could have been his way of holding back a little.  I've actually smacked my kids here and there lightly with the finger-tips with the same intent, not to inflict any harm.  So I think he was aiming for a similar effect by letting the wrist relax and go limp.

    So I voted "Other" in that I think it was a "reserved" slap that had the effect of looking like a gαy slap.

    Note how he made a point to use his left hand to secure Macron's right arm before slapping.

    Apparently there are two right-wing guys in police custody now.

    Thank you. The explanation in the article wasn't extremely helpful, but it's more than I knew before.
    I have to take issue with the word "unprovoked" in the following quote, though:
