    You are right, that is one of their bad traits.
    I hate the fact that they have spent the last 30 yrs pretending to be against abortion but never taking any legislative action on it.  Sure, they did the whole "partial birth abortion" ban, which is as close to infanticide as you can get, but they allowed the sanitized by the left name for the procedure in place.
    I also have a sneaking suspicion that the Repubs and Dems are actually different branches of the Uniparty, but the topic of this thread is "Things I hate about Republicans".

    As long as they don't kowtow to the Democrats and pass a second assault weapons ban or any more gun control, they might be tolerable.

    • Has no one noticed that a great many influential and high ranking Republicans used to be Democrats?

    When the Democrat Party stopped being the war party after Vietnam (remember, Democrats got the U.S. into every WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam), the Democrats who are advocate war became Republicans.

    never heard of UniParty but that word seems to describe Congress these days... so fed up.. babies being slaughtered is the worst of it.. other people being destroyed in other ways is another part of it... If you don' have money, don't live in DC you are nothing

    that is one issue... important as it is, but one issue
    a lot of people's lives do not change regardless of who is in power... so disgusted w/ that...

    Really?  You don't know what a neocon is?  In a nutshell: Neocons are basically Trotskyite Jєωs, formerly Democrats, most of them.     I hope this brief description of neocons is helpful, and I invite any correction to my perceptions from other forum members.

    • Please don't paint such a broad brush to condemn ALL Republicans. The reason there is the term RINO (Republican in Name Only) is because some (or maybe most) of the leadership in the party are not really Republicans.

    If you are participating by voting, who are you voting for if not Republicans? Or are you sitting out the elections, doing nothing but loudly complaining?
