You are right, that is one of their bad traits.
I hate the fact that they have spent the last 30 yrs pretending to be against abortion but never taking any legislative action on it.  Sure, they did the whole "partial birth abortion" ban, which is as close to infanticide as you can get, but they allowed the sanitized by the left name for the procedure in place.
I also have a sneaking suspicion that the Repubs and Dems are actually different branches of the Uniparty, but the topic of this thread is "Things I hate about Republicans".

As long as they don't kowtow to the Democrats and pass a second assault weapons ban or any more gun control, they might be tolerable.
