Southern perspective on Ides-of-March primary results at less than 2 hours after westernmost polls closed at 7 p.m. CDT in Florida:

· Trump hasn't yet made expected appearance at loosely scheduled news-conference in Fla. (at 2nd-home Palm Bch. Co.).

· Gang-of-8's Marco Rubio has already announced his ~~exit~~ "suspension" from the presidential race.

· Ted Cruz finished as distinct 3rd in state.

Follow-up postings can provide details.
