A lot of liberal political and news figures have been wearing the boot.
Are they covering up an ankle bracelet? Have they been apprehended and are their where-abouts being monitored?

From the article (please see the link above), "Rachel Maddow is wearing a boot and the caption on the pic is "...tearing ankle ligaments in a fishing accident." How in the world does someone tear ligaments from fishing? Why is she so eager to show it off? But more importantly, why is she bearing weight on the alleged "injured" foot?"

for the fact that John McCain was actually caught wearing the boot on the OPPOSITE foot/leg that he had it on earlier.

Sen. John McCain (https://thehill.com/people/john-mccain) (R-Ariz.) on Thursday clarified that his walking boot is on his right foot, adding that he switched it to his left to “give it a break.”
McCain caused confusion when he posted a photo from his daughter Meghan’s wedding (http://thehill.com/blogs/in-the-know/361547-mccain-congratulates-daughter-meghan-on-marriage-to-conservative-writer) in which his walking boot was on his left foot. He had previously been seen wearing it on his right foot after he suffered a minor tear (http://thehill.com/blogs/floor-action/senate/358950-mccain-treated-for-achilles-tear) in his right Achilles tendon.
His "explanation", if this was in fact an Achilles tear, is preposterous. If you wanted to give your foot a break, you would simply remove the boot. What is the point of putting it on the GOOD foot? That's just stupid.
Maybe the ankle bracelet was allowed to be moved to the other foot because it was causing some chaffing or some other issue.
