In the case of an eventual war, there's not a side that really favors Catholicism. The leaders of any eventual war are not likely to be Catholic, and therefore truly Catholic principles will not be a guiding force. Catholics will, instead, be required to follow a Protestant leader, such as Trump. Are Catholics really going to give their all (including possibly their lives) for a supposed Protestant/extreme capitalist victory? Because such a victory, if it happens, will not have enduring Catholic principles behind it. And we'll still have the some problems of Americanism and extreme capitalism. Those won't go away, even though the Marxist faction of extreme capitalism may appear to be defeated for awhile (though it will never completely go away if the current form of capitalism is still allowed to prevail).
As much as I support Trump, there are limits as to what I'm willing to give to my support to, since Trump isn't Catholic and he doesn't understand how true Catholicism works.
