I agree.
The only solution is to divide up along very broad lines -- those who are OK with living a month in America in 1985 or 1995, and those who want genderless bathrooms, critical race theory, universal basic income, etc.
There's disagreeing about how to get there, and there's disagreeing about where we're going. Americans aren't even on the same page about where we're supposed to be going anymore. That *can't* work.
Same with marriages. There are differences based on upbringing, and you can learn to get along despite differences IF you have common goals. But if one spouse wants to be childless, travel the world, visit high-traffic areas, and has no use for God, while the other spouse is religious, wants a large family, wants to stay home, and enjoys a slow pace of life, there is ZERO hope, not just little hope, but ZERO hope for that couple.
That is the case with America today. There is no common ground. Either we need to separate, or there will be a cινιℓ ωαr to see whose vision of day-to-day life will prevail.
