  • The Post got something right in titling an article on Trump's inconsistency/hypocrisy:
    Quote from: The Post
Trump says 17-month-old gαy marriage ruling [Obergefell v. Hodges] is ‘settled’ law—but 43-year-old abortion ruling [Roe v. Wade] isn’t.

(cf. the related LSN article). Scalia very weakly opposed Obergefell v. Hodges, and Trump wants more Scalias?

This proves that St. Thomas is 100% correct in saying that sodomy is simply a higher degree of lust, and Trump's share of lust/adultery has certainly rotted his "thinking."

Roe v. Wade very likely won't be overturned because abortion and contraception is a pillar of Corporate America's economic system. Easy access to abortion and contraception means that employers can continue to exploit women in the work place by using their bodies' natural functions as a reason to deny them the pay and benefits they rightfully deserve. This, like homicide, is one of the four sins crying to heaven for vengeance.

  • Don't be fooled? Is that a joke?

I doubt that anyone here was "fooled."

The only fools who were fooled were those who directly or indirectly voted for dirty Hillary.

Don't be fooled that Trump is pro-life and anti-sodomy.

Even Pence, with his alleged 100% pro-life record, did not support, against the sodomy agenda, the cake-makers et al. in his state.

  • My gut tells me that Trump is a neo-con, but...I watched the entire '60 minutes' interview and when Trump said the matter was 'settled' he was referring to the ruling by the Supreme Court.  And he's right.  It is settled.  The reason he answered this way, is because the reporter asked in such a way as to label him as hating g@ys if had responded any other way.  There is no reason for him to say anything to this reporter, so I support his dodge.

The reality is that Congress can pass laws to define 'life at conception' and 'traditional marriage' and the Supreme Court can do nothing about that.  THIS is the answer, not the supreme court, to winning these battles.

It could've done that under Bush, but didn't.

  • That's right, Trump could be even more of an LGBT Pres than Obama was. The one thing I was hoping against hope for when Obama was first elected was that his Af-Am cultural background would prevent that agenda from moving forward. Boy was I ever wrong! The prolife issue with Trump has even less purchase because he's been opposed to it most of his adult life! It's been a carrot on a stick for so long with so many opportunities squandered that I no longer believe any candidate or group of Republicans is prepared to act on it or actually believes in it. Every Republican president in recent memory has managed to hybridize his party with the Dems against the Catholics in one form or another.

Trump is a brief reprieve from direct persecution, but a trustworthy man of integrity with a soft spot for Catholics? He has yet to prove that as far as I'm concerned. Interestingly, Trump is now more strongly aligned with another fake conservative, Putin, than ever before. This could help inoculate Russia from all criticism coming from the right because no one wants to be associated with the complaints of the left regardless of how much truth lies behind it. I think they're all connected really and this is more puppet show opposition.

Why Trump over Clinton? Like Pope Francis, the urge to swallow whole the last vestiges of resistance towards socialist-satanic rule may be too great to well, "resist."

I'm sure you knew all that information I posted about Putin and Russia in general, right? We have to be more critical of all the information that comes down to us from both the left and the "right." Even a light brush on the surface level indicates that post-communist "Christian" Russia is nothing but a rotten pretense. Just like it is here, only they did it first.

It's not a comfortable spot to be in, but you might as well know that there aren't any major powers left in the world that have the Holy Roman Catholic Church's best interests in mind. Quite the opposite. Dismiss it all you want, but the fact is we are public enemy numero uno around the world, left and right, north and south, front and center. We have no friends, but we can't afford to turn a blind eye the moment someone offers us friendship when they have their other hand behind their back or tucked in between their shirt buttons.

  • Croixalist, before I turn in for the night, I'd just want to say that Russia is emerging from the bowls of atheistic socialism while we (the USA) are immersing into it. God help us that we can change this trend.

Russia has been persecuting the RCC in one form or another for years. This is old news. The "Orthodox" Church lovingly served the Tsar, served the Soviets, and currently serves the interests of a thoroughly secularized Russia. I'd like to know where and when they have ever done anything but seek to substitute the true Church with their own lying facsimiles. Just like Ambrose, they're full of words they know people want to hear but their scam is easily seen through by people willing to investigate.

The fact is Russia doesn't need to make a scene about the Catholic Church when less than .5% of Russians consider themselves Catholic and far less even attempt to be religious... and that's when they can even find priests to say Mass for them. They have been denying and revoking visas for Catholic missionary priests, usually of Polish origin, since the Yeltsin years.

Don't go to bed. Stay up and look into it!

The word should be "merging" rather than "emerging." Merging religious iconography with Russian nationalism, merging anti-gαy rhetoric with pro-gαy rhetoric, merging left and right. If you let yourself be taken in by either approach without fully vetting the information out there, you will be caught off balance. It's all about demoralization and destabilization.

Could it be the reason this sounds so familiar to us in the West is precisely because the USA has become an extension of Soviet power albeit on a openly "secretive" level. We have to become more immune to mere lip service and more than just passingly familiar with international conflicts and intrigue... especially in Russia. Very few trads I've spoken with are even aware of the amount of pro-Commie/anti-Catholic activities are done routinely and openly for all to see.

The Supreme Court can overturn laws it deems unconstitutional. You either have to have the SC on your side or amend the Constitution.

All his campaign managers (except Conway) and Bannon are Georgetown graduates, and they're all Catholic. Melania might have been raised Catholic, as even today Slovenia is ? Catholic.

At the Al Smith Dinner, after being booed, Trump mocked that farce while also defending Catholics: "I don’t know who they’re angry at Hillary, you, or I. For example, here she is tonight, in public, pretending not to hate Catholics."

The fact is: Russia has anti-sodomy and anti-Protestant proselytization laws and much better abortion regulation than the U.S.

Actually, I don't think Bannon is; he sent his daughters to some Jєωιѕн school. Still, having gone through Georgetown, they've certainly at least been indoctrinated in Modernism.
