I remember when I worked at a very large Hotel. One year, there would be
a General Manager for a day. The employees voted who would be the
GM for a day and a man from housekeeping was chosen. And for
one day the housekeeper and the GM changed places.
The GM was cleaning bathrooms and the hotel lobby and the employee
came to work in a suit and tie and sat in the General Manager's Office.
The only thing he did was order a pay increase to all the employees.
It was rescinded by the GM when the day was over.
This happened only once in all the years I worked at this hotel.
