  • Illegal immigration will continue as long as the rot on both sides still exists. The cartels own the Mexican government, Americans buy their drugs, and neither side wants to do anything to stop it.

  • Most of Catholic prayer is "scripted" (i.e. we have so many Church-composed prayers) that we tend to think it "odd" or "protestant" to go "off script" and talk to God openly about a particular situation.  But there's nothing wrong with it, if done personally and at a non-church function.
It's one thing to go off-the-cuff praying, but the evangelical stream-of-conscious prayer punctuated with random repetitions of "Father", "God Father", "Lord", etc. sprinkled throughout seems silly at best, and irreverent at worst. It's the prayer equivalent of an impromptu drive-thru order, complete with an "um" every other word. And maybe it's just me, but these prayers seem overly dramatic and done for spectacle.

Agree.  I've heard both silly versions and over-the-top versions of protty prayers.  But in those cases, I think the people were well-intentioned, normal people.

Some are done for spectacle, for sure.  I think the "dramatic" is done on purpose, because it gives (in their mind) more "gravitas" to the prayer.  To be fair, many Catholic prayers are quite dramatic too.

As did JD Vance and another Cabinet member I didn't recognize (Sean Duffy?).

  • If their hearts are in the right place, God will still hear their prayer.

And it is good to see the sign of the cross in this situation.  Just the sign of the cross is a powerful devotion.

That is probably an aspect of black spirituality and worship.  It tends to be quite emotive.

I'd take it at face value as a sign of respect.

After all, in the rosary, we repeat the Hail Mary 53 times, we don't say it just once.

  • World leaders, aka iws, take the perennialist position in public life. They need this mass of "goys" to work for them. They know this mass of "goys" can't be iwish, so they have to give lip service to various moral systems important to gentiles. That's all this prayer service is about.

At the end of the day, these people think they are racially superior to you. But iwish women can mate with men of any hue and their offspring will still be considered fully iwish. These different-hued "leaders" we see are pretty much all iws.
Some would have people believe that I'm a deceiver because I've used various handles on different Catholic forums. They only know this because I've always offered such information, unprompted. Various troll accounts on FE. Ben on SuscipeDomine. Patches on ABLF 1.0 and TeDeum. GuitarPlucker, Busillis, HatchC, and Rum on Cathinfo.

Maybe you are unaware of the fact that the reason Trump is threatening Mexico with 25% tarriff on all their products exported to the U.S. is to force the Mexican govenrment to regain control of the cartels and end the flood of drugs. Illegal border crossings are now reduced by 94%.
