    • We have some ridiculous and non-serious claims here like "Trump has converted to Judaism", even though he continues to publicly praise Lord Jesus and even Mother Mary, on par with other even more ridiculous and non-serious claims like "voting for Trump is a mORtaL sin". Meanwhile, President Trump commemorates Catholic feast days and if anything is closer to converting to Catholicism (praising Mother Mary, St. Michael the Archangel, a Polish Catholic priest who was martyed under Communism) than to Judaism. Leave those in error to their errors.

    • Objectively, Trump is closer to Catholicism than Judaism, for no believing Jew (like Ben Shapiro for e.g.) will praise Jesus and Mary, pray to St. Michael the Archangel, praise Polish Catholic martyred priests etc. I'm not saying Trump has converted to Catholicism - although there is more evidence even of that than the flimsy evidence on which some claim he's converted to Judaism. I think he's still a Protestant who is growing more and more friendly to Catholicism. As Chesterton remarked, those who begin by at least being fair to Catholicism often end up embracing it eventually.

    JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants a new community on the Golan Heights named for Donald Trump.
    The announcement Tuesday comes a month after the U.S. president signed a proclamation recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over the strategic heights, which Israel captured from Syria during the Six-Day War in 1967 and annexed in 1981. The United States is the first country to recognize the Golan as part of Israel.
    In a video message posted to YouTube Netanyahu said: “I’m here on the beautiful Golan Heights. All Israelis were deeply moved when President Trump made his historic decision to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights. Therefore, after the Passover holiday, I intend to bring to the government a resolution calling for a new community on the Golan Heights named after President Donald J. Trump.”
    Netanyahu, his wife, Sara, and their two sons spent Tuesday touring the Golan Heights, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.
