This is interesting that he uses illegal immigration as a platform. The general public is so unaware of what happens with illegal immigration that they don't see where this is or could go. I have lived with, worked with, and speak the native language of illegal immigrants. I've also worked in a handful of Latin American countries. This could easily just be the next step of the Patriot Act, and nobody will see it coming. The US government could've stopped illegal immigration years ago, but chooses not to. The undocuмented workers pay taxes for years without filing their taxes. They also never receive welfare since they don't have proper docuмents. (So the government keeps their money they never file to receive, mostly because they are using a fake identity, and their presence in the labor market helps to drive wages down while relying on no assistance from the government.) The Hispanic families who do receive welfare were born in the US or do have proper docuмents. Illegal immigrants are happy to just be able to work mostly and do not spend time thinking about how they can get free stuff from the system. Those are our legal residents who do that. Don't take this out of context as me advocating illegal immigration because I am not. But the crucial element here is this. In all of these poor third world Latin American countries, illegal immigration is next to impossible. That's right. If you or me or any other American went to their countries to try to get a job we would not be able to without proper docuмentation. The US uses Social security cards to work and get a job. This is just a simple piece of paper that anyone can create. The fake ones (I have seen dozens) simply include a false return if lost address (because those making fake ones don't want them turned in to the government). Most or all Latin American countries use a very detailed work book with a photo id, a place to scan, a microchip, and finger prints, making it impossible for illegal immigrants to work in their countries. That's right. The third world has successfully eliminated the possibility of anyone working illegally in their countries, and the US is far behind on this issue, decades behind. Just to illustrate, take for example Honduras, there are places where the residents receive their water to use for all purposes every 2 days and store it in a trough in their house, but they have a more advanced employment eligibility verification process than the US. So how will Trump solve the illegal immigration problem? Microchips? More detailed docuмents? Necessary fingerprinting and retina scans for employment? Where will this go?

  • Centroamerica is 100% right on this issue. I live and work in Latin America (I"m from the USA) and it took me 7 years and cost thousands of dollars to get residency with a work permit, and I have my daughter here who was born in this country. I am obligated by law to carry my ID at all times and the police have the right to stop me anywhere, for any reason, and ask for it. If I can't produce it I can be held in jail for one week. If I don't have residency I have to produce a valid passport and pay for a visa every time I enter the country.

And you know what? I agree with all of those laws. A country has the sovereign right and responsibility to monitor and control who crosses its borders and who is living in the country that came from somewhere else. I comply with those laws without complaint because I realize that I am a foreigner here and that I don't have any "right" to be here without the consent of the duly-appointed autorities.

Why do we tolerate the immigration chaos we have in the US? Number one, because of idiot self-hating liberals who believe that rules and laws and responsibilities should apply only to white Christian males, who after all are the source of all evil in the world due to our racist, sexist, chauvinistic, imperialistic, colonialistic, capitalistic, fascistic bigotry, prejudice, and discrimination. Everyone else is exempt because they are the victims of us evil blue-eyed devils.

Number two, are the laws that make it so hard to employ or fire someone that business owners sometimes turn to illegal immigrants as a way of getting around the prohibitive high costs and legal papework needed to hire someone legally.

Number three, is the sad fact that the good ol' USA now has so many useless pieces of white trash, black trash, and Latino trash who refuse to show up on time, work a full 8-hour day, stop stealing from their employers, or pass a simple drug test, that the employers prefer an indocuмented worker who simply can be gotten rid of if he doesn't work out.

I have met here hundreds of hard-working people who lived and worked for a while in the USA and all of them prospered while they were there. The trash, of course, only looks for a handout or a way to make money stealing or selling drugs but I'm talking about good, decent people who were willing to do any kind of dirty or sweaty job in order to get money to send back home. Those people were grateful to work and I was sorry that they got captured in a roundup and deported, while the trash, who never go to a job, never seem to get caught in those immigration roundups. They continue to multiply and give their people a bad name. The liberals, though, have a great love and affection for criminals and deadbeats, just like the Novus Ordo presiders and their bishops do. To good, decent, hard-working Catholics, they don't give the time of day.

  • You pretty much summed it up better than I could have.

My work docuмent here in Brazil is more thorough than my US passport.  My work docuмent is a booklet with 34 pages.  It has a photo ID, my fingerprint, a list of identity numbers, my biological mother and father's full name.  More than my US passport.  And this is what all Brazilians use to get employment.

But that's not all.  It also has a place where employers have to sign and also include wages and if later raises are received they note that too.  I consider this to be to my advantage, and it guarantees my work right's in this country.

That the U.S. uses a simple piece of paper with only one number and your name and no other information is embarrassing.  I showed my Social Security card to an Irish friend here in Brazil and he thought I was joking.  I don't know what the EU uses.

They say that Trump wants to build a wall on the border and put "boots on the ground".  I think that that is ridiculous.  This won't fix anything.  The US already has an employment docuмent process that is medieval, and now he thinks that putting a wall around the country will help it!

Most Americans don't understand how international travel works.  You get a tourist visa in your national passport in order to enter the US.  This allows you to stay in the country for six months.  Many enter like this and just overstay their visas.  Then they can get a fake social security card and work at any place that doesn't use the I-9 system to check to see that the number is valid, which depends on the employer and there are ways around this as well.  Like buying the birth certificate of some Cuban-American that doesn't ever plan to work and is involved in crime.  A wall around the US will do nothing to stop this and waste time and money.

So building a wall around the country isn't smart.  Stopping undocuмented workers means making the docuмents a little more difficult than a little piece of cardboard with a number typed on it. Trumps inability to see this is either incompetence or dishonesty; I don't see any other option.

We conclude logically that religion can give an efficacious and truly realistic answer to the great modern problems only if it is a religion that is profoundly lived, not simply a superficial and cheap religion made up of some vocal prayers and some ceremonies...

  • Trump and these other immigration "hard-liners" are dishonest. They don't want to fix the broken system because either they or their campaign donors benefit from it. Just like in these Latin American countries where the drug kingpins are either never arrested or if they are, they go to some "country-club" prison from which they break out after a few years or months. (Look at the news about "El Chapo" Guzman today for an example.) Many of the top politicians and business people get a share of the drug money so they have zero interest in killing their golden-egg-laying goose. Same here with the indocuмented worker traffic and their labor. It's a multi-billion dollar business. Whoever rocks that boat ends up getting fed to the sharks. I know we have good men and women in our armed forces and police who would love to kick some drug-and-human-trafficker butt but they have their hands tied. All in the name of "human rights'.

If God were not infinitely merciful I don't know how Our Lady could have held back the hand of His Wrathful Justice as long as she has.

  • I wonder how many "illegal immigrants" are working for Donald Trump or any of his subsidiaries?

  • Simple solution:

Instead of fighting bloody and monetarily costly wars for juden, bring our troops home and use the National Guard to reinforce, or perhaps lead, the Border Patrol in securing the borders. You can actually create jobs by truly protecting America from enemies and illegals, rather than the current scheme of protecting, actually, mass surveillance of American citizens and systematic bodily molestation at airports which is a done under the pretext of "keeping America safe", yet it's actually a mechanism to domesticate and control the population.  Build a real wall that prevents illegals from entering the country. Walls are effective. It worked in Berlin... it works in Gaza...

Impose HEAVY fines on, and imprisonment of, American employers who hire illegals.
