I watched Glenn Beck and found it very interesting. But my computer has been cutting out on me all day and the show was in fits and starts. I only got to see 14 minutes and 37 seconds of it before it froze. I suspect there was more.

That idiot David (Barcley?) was on there. As if he knows anything given that he has spent so many years researching these things. Obviously it is just the opiate of the people.

Too bad you didn't see the entire show, it was a full hour. They touched on Thomas Jefferson too. It starts off with GB asking the teens questions, and then goes into much of what has been discussed here on this board from time to time.

I found David Barcley's information most interesting.

Of course we all know that just like any nation America a nation of humans, run by humans and horrible mistakes were made, we are not a divine institution as the Church is.
Glenn Becks show doesn't always make good sense either.

The quarter hour I saw did. Barcley or Barton, whichever his name is, is from Wallbuilders and this is what they do. The article above is from Wallbuilders. But as Eamon says, that is just a ploy. How could he whose business it is to know these things, know these things.

I agree. If even the Church can go into eclipse, why should we expect more from mere humans. Guaranteed that even the perfect gov't formed today by those who learned from the mistakes of this gov't, could be corrupted and brought down tomorrow. Besides, the founding fathers said that all would depend on our moral rectitude. There is no substitute for a moral people.
