This Is Not Going To End Well

People who voted for Donald Trump were voting for change. For that matter, that’s what the people who voted for Barack Obama were voting for in 2008. But Obama changed nothing, and it looks like Trump won’t either. At least not the things that really matter.
Trump has appointed as many neocons, war hawks, and insiders to his administration as Barack Obama or G.W. Bush--maybe more. His promotion of Obamacare 2.0 was a total embarrassment to everything he campaigned for. He twisted the arms of House and Senate conservatives as much as Bush used to do--maybe more so. Thankfully, the House Freedom Caucus stood like Stonewall Jackson and refused to compromise their convictions.
hmmm... I myself don't know what to think about the pres and the Freedom C
part of me wants to agree w/ you, but you know.. I watch news "all the time" and I still don't even know what was in the new R bill. What i do know does not please me, so maybe it doesn't matter what else is there.. no maybe to it
I do think it is Obamacare Lite. And the only comfort i have is knowing (or strongly suspecting) that the Freedom Caucus can be trusted. I have agreed w/ everything the pres has done to this point, as pres. But this is one thing I do not agree on, but I say that knowing that I don't know the new bill inside and out. I wonder how many in DC could say the same thing? The Ds don't want to know. If it is sponsored by Rs, they think they dont have to read it to be against it. They are childish and silly and i don't u/stand why anyone in his right mind gives a rip what they think or do.. except in so far as it affects the country which unfortunately..
sigh
