  • I have been following the healthcare issue ever since that last "president" got obamacare in place. I sensed it would be a disaster, which is not exactly prophetic if you know some of the important details involved. In fact, I think "they" designed it to fail.. so as to get Single Payer in place. Big Brother wants to [insert sardonic, derisive whine here] "take care of you"

    Please!

The government makes things worse and being dependent on Big Brother is a total disaster in many ways... (not all ways, which is why it is attractive to the low income voters and others)

Anyway, I am leery of what the Rs are trying to w/ healthcare. Why not just repeal the *&%# thing! Get it OUTA here already. Then enact laws that help the consumer and do not overly help Corporate America to get even richer...

I am with Rand Paul and Co. The Rs are trying to maintain govt control of healthcare instead of handing it over to the free market, which I admit needs SOME govt intervention in order to protect the vulnerable.. but let's get real. We do not need govt-controlled... ANYTHING (to speak of)

    :fryingpan: :cussing:

  • I think t he Rs should listen to RAnd Paul. He makes a lot of sense and really seems to CARE what is going on in this country.. meaning what is  going on that should not be going on.. invasion of privacy by the govt being one of the most important of his concerns.. but also this healthcare stuff

It seems the Rs are just trying to hold onto govt control, which means keeping parts of O-care that they choose to keep for whatever reason but I say that reason is CONTROL. Now, maybe they have a valid reason but I cna't see one, to speak of... except that rich people want to stay rich and get even richer off healthcare

    I am cynical

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer... and I don't believe many politicians care about that. And our free market system is deterirorating... and RAnd Paul seems to care about that (Rand and Co) more than most politicians in Swampland

  • There is talk of repealing first

The thing is: the replacement. As many Rs (not rinos, real Rs) are saying and i myself have been saying for some time, it is not good for the govt to have control of healthcare, which is what many rinos are proposing in the "replace" aspect of the problem. Healthcare is 1/6 of the economy. And we all know how crony capitalism acts like a thug when business and govt are "married..."

  • bunch of dead-heads, don't want to follow the healthcare issue... so it seems

    sigh

That's one reason this country is out of whack and corrupt: "average" Americans are just living their lives like nothing is seroiusly wrong. The ones of us who know something is DREADFULLY wrong and try to do something about it are few and far between in my opinion. In public places when Fox News or even CNN is on, VERY few in said public place are actually paying attention

then we wonder how we get such behemoths as "obamacare"

we wonder why we have less and less freedom every day

we wonder why... we have no privacy... Rand Paul fights against the constant invasion of privacy by govt... but I will bet he often feels alone in that fight or virtually alone... He is doing his best to protect us and...

but  people are busy with their I-phones and their partying and all that... I don't know...

    I am... um... many things

    bored being one... sigh

  • Some of us (and conservative commentators on TV) think most Republicans in Congress are rinos and it would seem that this healthcare thing proves it more than anything. I don't see why they don't just repeal the thing and it seems if that happened we would go back to a market-based healthcare system. Then Congress could work on changing any laws or lack of laws that, for example, favor insurance companies too much as opposed to The People. I have not heard one argument yet against doing that, no valid argument. I won't say there is no valid argument, just that I have not heard one. And Rand Paul says that half the Obamacare taxes would be retained with this new Republican bill. He says others things about it that should worry us all, and I heard most americans do not like it. So why not just repeal and go from there? I think we should support those who are not supporting it. Write your congresspersons today. Thank you. I believe freedom is at stake here. We do not want DC dictating to us how and when and etc on healthcare (or much of anything else)

Not at all. Healthcare would still continue to be very, very privatized. It would be nice to have a single-payer system so the average American isn't put into six-figure debt to stay alive, but that won't happen for a long, long time.

  • Watch Medicaid.  So, is said, that 60% of children are on medicaid.  Medicaid is School-based, school-linked clinics.  Paid for by State and Federal( That is you, us!)
This is big stuff!  Started by Hillary Clinton, so she says.  I was fortunate to read federal grants for the state of AZ in 1986-95 abouts. I read grants that were of the issue of sex ed. and such.  I was taught how to look for certain ones like: NGO=non=government organizations and such.

What I found was, catholic dioceses was at the head of implementing sex ed(against the law) HIV AIDS Task force(dioceses taught use of condoms in 1991 and was in the catholic newspaper- We are teaching the C-word."

School-Based clinics started in AZ with private money (Flinn Foundation- catholic doctor, so I have been told).  1 million was enough to pay for a school-based clinic, then.  Then NGO's jump on the band wagon by partnerships as well, and yes, those programs were hidden in the catholic charities.  Tobacco Tax paid for clinics.  Then major medical groups, here in AZ 22 Banner Health corporation and that was just maybe 20% of medical groups listed!  School buses and vehicles will transport students to any clinic or even hospital if a pregnancy/abortion goes wrong.

Let your mind just imagine.  Some students used to be labeled and now all are labeled for something under medical.  Once the parent signs up for school clinic, "they" state, school can do anything.  Remember the story years ago of a child coming home with a mess of dental done in their mouth and the parent shocked out of their gourd!

There is no way that the medical insurance is going to change "this'!  Can you imagine the money being made!!  The Dept. of ED. has a big voice in this.
Never vote for an override budget. They are counting on this money for these clinics.

In your area, should have noticed in the past 15-20 years clinics sprouting up.  This is it!  If the clinic is not based at the school, then it will be linked, where the student is transported.  Ages 1 -21.  So, we are in for a real eye opener.  I was on the school buses as an assistant 1996-2006.  I watched the clinics sprout and I saw who had the ownership, like CBRE and others.  The areas were just waiting for the button to be pushed and they were made like over night!

  • To keep a school clinics operating, it cost AZ $250=$300,000 per year in "1991"! So, when Flinn foundations money ran out, over rides were being begged for.  In the meantime, women I knew, educated the area of the school over 2 years and warned the parents and residence.  When it came time to vote, the over ride (s) were voted NO.  in the newspaper, it read that because they did not get their over ride, the parents would have to pay $31. a year for their sports!  That was a lie!

So, that is a heads up to us all!

  • This is just a sidenote- but it seems that all hospital based physician groups and hospitalists now are all foreigners- mostly from muslim countries. If fact, our local 'Catholic' hospital has over 20 hospitalists and only one is a (white) American. There are not even black American doctors in these positions- they are all muslim. The muslim doctors seem detatched towards the patients and follow government protocol to the "T". No critical thinking here. They know what they have to do to stay out of trouble and get paid.
These are great physican "jobs". Their malpractice is paid by the hospital group and they have no overhead, and they take no call...who wouldn't want a high paying , no strings position like that? Aren't there any christian doctors that could fill these positions? I think a lot of these 'doctors' could give a hoot if you live or die- just as long as they can cover themselves on paper.Their education requirements are different in their country of origin as well.
This is all part of the Obama/NWO/ZIO "greater" dechristianization of America, through unfettered immigration HB1 Visas and strategic positioning of immigrants with preferred employment

Some get their undergraduate degrees here in the US or in Britain or Canada, and others get it overseas in English. They don't do medical school or residency overseas for two reasons:

    A) American institutions are widely seen as superior

    B) Getting certified to practice medicine in the US if you get your degree/residency from overseas is really difficult.

From my experience, though, most of them have been Indian, and India has a lot of Catholics.

  • They are obligated to pass their medical boards here- although in the VA and  other gov't institutional systems I have seen doctors having waivers to work before being boarded. Sure many go through the British medical system but many Pakistanis go to school in Pashtung. There are "indiginous" schools. You are lucky to have Catholics... it doesn't seem that we do.

single payer is the end of freedom. When the corrupt government takes over healthcare, it is out of the People's hands and will be a disaster morally and otherwise. Look at all the countries that have government control of healthcare. Did you hear the story of how England was trying to forbid the parents of a medically needy child from leaving the UK to get medical care elsehwere?

If government controls something, guess  what? It CONTROLS

It should seem obvious: more government control means less freedom. Is that so hard to understand?
