A bronze "angel of Peace" medallion "that ends all wars" was given to Vladimir Putin during his visit earlier this week. This same medallion was given to the Palestinian president a few months ago. I would really like to see an image of it, but I cannot find one. Has anyone here seen it? If so, please describe it and/or provide an image if you can. I suspect that the medallion will be very telling of pope francis. The material used already tells me something, but I need the image. An image from a poor angle can be seen in this video.

Well, I think I have some bad news. I found a commentary and a better image of one of these "angel of peace" medallions. The link is to a page with a youtube video of dahboo7 talking about francis and obamas gifts. Obama gives francis "carrot seeds", and francis gives him a bronze medallion. When I look at the image, I see the geico gecko lizard with angel wings. Please, take a look.

google translation is "a world of only darity based on justice and peace". But, only darity has to be translated as solidarity, because NO popes always use it. So, the saying is, "a world of solidarity based on justice and peace". Solidarity means fellowship.

The image is what I find questionable. The dragon is appearing to split the earth in two. And, the angel is resisting that process. And, that is not going to bring peace. St. michael the angel that opposes the dragon, traditionally slays him. But, not in this image. And, I am suspicious of this opposition to a divided world. We know that antichrist will unify and rule the world. A world divided cannot be ruled. We can see a one world continent goal with projects like the railway from europe through russia/alaska all the way to new york. That doesn't reflect a world divided. That looks like a one world order. And, our lord came not to bring peace, but he sword(to divide sinners from the just). The same is found in the parable about separating the good fish from the bad and the angels doing likewise. There is nothing wrong with a world divided, in fact, it is ideal.

So, in my opinion, it is a nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr medallion.

I don't care for the medallion but I do agree with the message to end wars to have peace.
