Franco's Grave is Desecrated as the Desiccated Spaniards Look On. The Man Who Stared Down Stalin, Hitler, Truman, and Paul VI Is Pulled From His Grave By the Socialists Who Could Not Beat Him in the Battlefield or Overthrow Him during his 40 Year Reign.

So what are you saying, Roscoe? Are you for or against Franco?
-
In a statement, Franco’s grandchildren said, “the government, aided by other powers of the state and the Church’s hierarchy, has completed the profanation of the sepulcher of our grandfather Francisco Franco, gravely violating our basic rights.”
It should say the counterfeit Vatican II church.

I am a big fan of Gen Franco...

I read an article in the paper yesterday and this morning on this subject. Of course, both articles were written by socialists (not real journalists) and therefore were blatantly biased against Franco. I don't know enough (nor care, for that matter) of what goes on in socialist Spain, but it was plain to see that the socialist, after all these years, still have what amounts to "butt-hurt". It also goes to show how strong symbolism is, as the mere location of his burial was too much for them to handle. His very removal itself was a form of symbolism to the socialists.

So where is Juan Carlos? He was trained by Franco to take over as King and keep Spain anti-Communist. Was just a traitor, though.
His son, King Felipe VI, is no better.

"... still have what amounts to "butt-hurt"."
Thank you for your scholarly use of this meaningful, millennial term :farmer:

A true mystery, still to this day -- the question of whether or not Juan Carlos (18 at the time), killed his younger 14 year old brother Alfonso with a shot from a revolver into the forehead! Some incredible old film footage seen here: https://magazine.trueroyalty.tv/2019/08/06/did-a-future-king-kill-his-brother/ (https://magazine.trueroyalty.tv/2019/08/06/did-a-future-king-kill-his-brother/)

That is certainly of interest, klasG4e. And from Wikipedia, here is apparently shown what was happening with Juan Carlos behind his mentor's, Franco, back:
Juan Carlos met and consulted Franco many times while heir apparent and often took part in official and ceremonial state functions, standing alongside the dictator, much to the anger of hardline republicans and more moderate liberals, who hoped that Franco's death would bring in an era of reform. During 1969–1975, Juan Carlos publicly supported Franco's regime. Although Franco's health worsened during those years, whenever he did appear in public, from state dinners to military parades, it was in Juan Carlos's company. Juan Carlos continued to praise Franco and his government for the economic growth and positive changes in Spain.[citation needed (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)] However, as the years progressed, Juan Carlos began meeting secretly with political opposition leaders and exiles, who were fighting to bring liberal reform to the country. He also had secret conversations with his father over the telephone. Franco, for his part, remained largely oblivious to the prince's actions and denied allegations from his ministers and advisors that Juan Carlos was in any way disloyal to his vision of the regime.[18] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juan_Carlos_I_of_Spain#cite_note-19)
What a disaster - and with Vatican II looming, which took down about everybody, everywhere. I recall when I was younger, happening upon the nightly news on the day that Juan Carlos was installed. For just a fleeting moment the camera showed him kneeling in front of a crucifix - somehow that tiny bit of film was allowed to stay, shown for whatever reason.

Vatican II and communism/socialism/liberalism/no God in government, are what the people wanted and God gave it to them. Neither Vatican II nor liberalism had any affect on real Catholics, though it looks like only maybe 1/10 of 1% of baptized Catholics are real Catholics.

Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying: That all may be judged who have not believed the truth but have consented to iniquity. (2Thes2:10,11)
