there is the Black Vote, the Hispanic Vote, and then there is the dumb vote
I have to admit I have voted "dumb" before. I was once a very, very busy person and did not take much time to read about those running for office.

Fortunately even when I was an idiot, I accidentally voted for the right one (I voted for gingrich for pres yrs ago but have to confess I didn't know much about him. All I knew was that he was the one, one of the ones who got the Contract w/ America going, an historic movement that changed our country....)
anyway, I really think that when voters are confused as they probably were in AL, they think: Well, I don't know.. Moore may be a pervert... this Jones guy has a nice smile and so he may be the right one. I'll just vote for him
seriously, I think some people vote like that!
maybe a lot of AL voters didn't know he is a baby killer? (Sorry, imo anyone who votes for baby killing is a baby killer... sorry if my logic escapes others...)
